"What are you doing?" I giggled as Dimitri wrapped me in his arms at my grad party. Coming up from behind, I must add.
"Blowing our cover. What else?" he whispered suggestively in my ear.
"Oh, you're being bad." I responded just as suggestively after spinning in his arms.
"Of course I am- I love you, remember?"
"Yes, I remember. I love you, Comrade." I pulled my other half into a kiss.
"Guardian Rose Hathaway, you are clueless," breathed Dimitri before restarting the kiss.
"So are you, Guardian Dimitri Belikov." I relaxed into his chest with a contented sigh. For once, I was grateful my mother hadn't yet arrived on campus. Our relationship had been on the mend, but she wouldn't take this lying down and it could be what undid the progress we'd made.
