Armies words run through my head as I knock on Adeline's door, waiting for her to open it.

The door clicks open, snapping me out of my thoughts.

Adeline opens the door and before she could open her mouth to greet me I crash my lips onto hers.

I'm NOT a little girl

It takes her a second to react but her hand cups my face as she returns the gesture.

We pull apart and I smirk at the surprised look on her face even though on the inside I feel the same.

"Hi" she giggles as she takes her bottom lip between her teeth.

She does this absentmindedly but it drives me crazy.

"Hi" I breathe out with a smile.

"Here come in I'm almost done getting ready and then we can get going" she says stepping backwards into her room, while I follow.

I awkwardly stand as she fixes her makeup. She's wearing dark green snake skin pants with a long sleeve black top and a black leather jacket.
