The silence doesn't last long as her home or her mansion comes to view. Since we drive past the gate, we have been in the car for more less five to ten minutes. It might be the speed she was driving as she was keeping us informed. Or it might also be the amount of times she stopped to laugh her butt off.

Anyways, her house is spectacular. It was white with glass windows that looked almost black, but you could see a shade of green to it. I got out of the car with my mouth wide open for the ravens to fly in. I silently follow Aya who was equally inviting the ravens as her jaw were hanging by her chest.

Eliana seemed to have disappeared down the white staircase as she said something like 'Welcome'. As I took the stairs, I could see the sofas and lounge chairs on the rooftop by the second floor, facing the calm evening ocean as the sun dipped in it. On the edge of it, I could see a glitter of water, forming a straight line walk in jacuzzi. Directly below it, formed a huge bed of water. A swimming pool.

You couldn't see past the dark tinted window like walls. Even though from an angle, it seemed like the house was made of glass itself, it the view inside was well hidden from prying eyes. I walked down the stairs to be led in through the tall wall like door that touched the ceiling. It was wooden but glossy and smooth when I put my palm against it.

The interior shocked me even more. The door lead to a wide-open space. The ceilings were white like the outside along with some sides of the room while a few of the walls were glossy wooden, like the door itself. For instance, the wall, where a huge TV was placed on the centre. It was surrounded with huge white L-shaped sofas with golden orange cushions neatly placed along it.

Then to its far corner was what seemed like a dining area. The long wide rectangle white table was surrounded by the similar golden orange chair. I could also see the kitchen from where I stood which stood without a door to it. The room looked equally spacious with a kitchen island in the middle surrounded by tall black chairs.

I turned around to take the full view of the house. In the centre stood a white staircase with silver railing leading to the heaven upstairs. I could clearly see the other side of the house, where the swimming pool laid. An equally creamy white lounge chair surrounded the pool with a bar standing on the corner right below the pool like jacuzzi upstairs.

"Wow" the whisper finally escaped my lips. I turned to find an equally dazed Aya and a proud Eliana who stood with a big grin on her face. "I know right. This place is beautiful." She says as she herself turns around.

"What do you do for living? Are you a hired killer? Is that why you have so much money?" Oh, my mouth with no filter. Do you think if she really was one, she would let me live after I know her dark secrets? Who am I kidding?

Eliana booms out laughing. "Oh, dear Amara, what are we going to do to that non-filter mouth of yours. One day it will surely lead you into trouble." She says in-between her laughter. I just stare back at her to answer me. Somehow serious.

"No, I do not kill for living. Let's just say the Lycans earned enough over the period of time, they lived." She avoids my question at the same time answers it. "Anyways, I don't own it. It's my cousins. Well, I live here more often than he does but it belongs to him."

I nod my head at that.

"Let me show you to the guest room so you can clean up and rest before we eat something." She heads towards the stairs as we trail behind her. See, I told you the staircase leads you to heaven. From all this glass covered wall I could get a 360-degree view. The side that has rooftop, paints an endless picture of the now almost dark red ocean.

While the side parallel to that seems to invite me. I can still see the dark heavy woods that fills the land beyond. It stretches far and wide with tall trees that coves that land and swallows it wholly. Even though I am so far away from home, why does it feel like I am home? This place invites me in. No matter how much I know I don't belong, it welcomes me like it had been awaiting me.

From the time since we left our home in the woods, I finally feel like I am home. As I take a shower in the lush attached bathroom in the guest room that I would be staying for now, my mind keeps thinking back to the feelings I am starting to have. Being attached to this place is not good. And I know that.

I now know how dangerous Lycans can be. And to live in a house filled with them didn't sound pleasing to my thoughts. No, we need to leave soon. I cannot place Aya in danger. I left my home for a purpose. I need to get Aya away from this place and get her where she might belong. Then I can go back to where I truly belong too. The woods call me. Even though I promised Aya we will stick together till the end, I know that's not possible. Even more so, since we arrived here.

Even though Aya doesn't say anything, I know she has noticed it too. I seem to have stopped aging. It's been a few years now. No wonder I seem like a child compared to Aya who seemed smaller than me when we first met. And I was not ready to face Aya as the year goes by. I will find Aya her mate, so she can once again have a family. A place she truly belongs. And it's not with me. Oh, how wrong I was. It was never with me. I am a Raven. I belong to the woods. She gave me a fitting name. Raven. That belongs to the woods.
