"So, who'd you fuck around with?" I had just gotten in Em's car and we were leaving the stadium. There's so many people trying to leave at once that she hadn't moved in the last 10 minutes.

"No one." I gave her a smirk.

"Where are we going Em?"

"Jason's having a bon fire at his house tonight." I didn't say anything. After a few seconds she said

"So, was she any good?" Emma has no shame.

"She doesn't know what she's doing." I let out an irritated sigh.

"Well that fucking sucks."

"Tell me about it." The line finally started moving.

"Let's just get to Jason's." I said. I was already getting texts in the group message about where everyone was going. Almost everyone said they were heading to Jason's, Jackie included.

On the way to Jason's Em made us stop at this one liquor store that doesn't ID so she could buy a bottle of whatever. I don't drink, meds, so I just got a sprite. Em kept trying to get me to talk about who it was I hooked up with. There's no way in hell that I'm going to tell her it was Jackie. It's not that I don't trust her, but that would be violating the confidentiality agreement that I verbally agreed too.

As soon as we got to Jason's we didn't bother going through the house, we walked around back to the patio. He has a really big back yard with a fire place thing and even a beer pong table. I could already see the ball for brains surrounding the fire place. Em was checking out the guys that were here. I looked around and saw Jackie with her ex-boyfriend Asher. That's ironic. Oh well. None of my business.

"I'm going to go hang out with the ball for brains. I'll keep an eye on you from here." Geez that sounded creepy.

"You're the best." She kissed me on the cheek and we went our separate ways. The guys saw me coming and they all started high fiving me and what not. After I said hi to Jackson, Logan, Parker, and Kaden we all started talking. Jason was walking around trying to keep things somewhat civil.

"Okay what about her?" Alex asked me.

"No, no way not her." Right now, the guys are having me pick out girls for them to go flirt with. I mean they're all idiots.

"Why not?"

"Because as soon as you start talking to her she'll start picking out your prom colors." Reading people is easy. The way they move, act, talk, all of these things tell you a lot about a person and what's going through their head.

"What about her?" He asked. He was pointing at a girl who was standing with one other girl. She had long brown hair. The way she stood looked familiar. When she turned around I recognized her.

"Uh hello? What about her?" I hadn't said anything.

"What? No." I walked over to her. I touched her shoulder and when she turned around she looked like she was shocked to see me here.

"Hey Mayson."

"Hey Jane. What're you doing here?"

"I'm here with Carter." Right around then Carter walked up behind me with two drinks in his hand. He handed one to Jane and then took a drink out of his own. The girl that was with her had disappeared somewhere in the mix.

"Hey Track Star!" He put his hand on my head again. Of all the places, I would never have expected them to be here.

"Hey Carter." I didn't really know what to say. It'd be rude of me to ask again why they're here but I really wanted to know. They didn't seem like the party type. Granted I'm not the party type but I seem like I'd be.
