Breaking News

He rubbed her tummy in circles, with her little quiet snore being heard once or twice as she slept. The married couple were laying on their bed and watching some cartoons. Nya fell asleep during the episode and was cuddling into her husband's chest. 

She hasn't been feeling very well these past couple weeks, everyone thought she caught some type of flu or something, but the couple knows that there was a baby on board after a little doctors visit. They said she was only a couple weeks in the first trimester so the nausea was going to last a while before it goes away. 

They haven't told anyone yet, they wanted to wait to make sure everything was alright and had no complications. In a couple more weeks they would be able to tell their families that a new member was rolling into the bunch. 

Jay was very excited when they found out they were expecting, he'd always wanted to have a family with Nya and now it was going to come true. Even though the little bean growing inside her uterus hasn't fully developed quite yet, Jay still talked to it, singing, reading it bedtime stories and all. Even now when his wife is asleep in the afternoon on a Saturday he was still giving the baby some attention as well as calmness for Nya.

A little over an hour past and Jay got a little hungry. He got out of the bed quietly making sure not to wake up his pregnant love, and tip toed all the way to their bedroom door, closing it right behind him.  The blue ninja walked through to halls to the living room where the whole gang was at. They were just watching the daily new reports, but it doesn't look like any of them were really paying attention. Kai was on his phone, Lloyd's asleep, Cole is drawing some random animals, and it looked like Zane was the one watching the news. 

Jay smiled at his group of friends as he went into the kitchen and got out a bag of Ninja Chips and a glass on lemonade. He was planning on returning back to his room to eat his snake and share with Nya if she woke up, but that didn't happen after hearing the voice of Gayle Gossip on the T.V.

"Breaking news! This is just in, two of the ninja named Jay and Nya Walker were spotted in the Ninjago Clinic and sources said that they have just found out they are expecting their first child together after almost a year of marriage." Gayle announced to the viewers leaving the whole room silent, the only thing you could hear were crickets. 

Jay's face pales as he drops his glass and chips on the table. He got an angry glance from Kai and he just knew that he wasn't going to be able to walk tomorrow. "Nya's pregnant!" Kai shouted before Jay shushed him.

"We didn't want you to find out this way." Jay admitted to his brother-in-law.

Kai's face was getting red, "Why didn't you at least tell me!!!"

"Remember when I tried to propose to Nya to be my yang, that's why. We wanted to wait a little longer to make sure their wasn't going to be complications." 

Cole sighed looking away from the T.V, "Well now all of Ninjago knows." 

"Congrats though, you are going to be great parents." Zane said, trying to cheer the guy up, but wasn't really going so well. 

Jay grabbed a hold of her brown locks and groaned, "How am I going to tell Nya?*

"Tell me what?" A voice intruded. 

The gang turn around to see Nya with a blanket wrapped around her with confusion filled in her eyes. No one spoke, she glanced over at the T.V screen and knew her answer. She looked over at her brother and then at everyone else before keeping her gaze on Jay. Tears were stating to fill her vision and ran back to her bedroom. 

Before running after her Jay said to Zane, "Find out who was stalking us, and make sure to contact the police. That is private information and I want justice served." 

As Jay was running to their bedroom he could hear Cole questioning his antics, "We can do that?" 

Jay found the door to their bedroom locked. He knocked the door with no reply. He sighed, "Nya, it's Jay. Can I come in please?" He asked softly. The ninja of lightning could hear his wife's sniffles from the other side of the door. 

Nya opened the door slightly letting Jay inside and he pulled her into a tight embrace as he could feel her tears watering through his shirt. "Hey, hey, it's going to be ok. We're going to make sure everything is going to be alright." he told her, trying to not cry himself.

She sniffled, "We should have told them right when we found out." She confessed. Jay rubbed her back in circles, resting his head on hers.

"No, we were being responsible. Whoever found about and leaked it to the press is not. That wasn't our fault, this person did it for money probably." 

"We didn't even get to announce it to our families first." She murmured already hearing her phone buzzing off from all the text messages from who know who.

Jay lifted her chin up, "I know we were going to announce it in our own way, but at least now we don't have to stress about it." He joked, trying to cheer her up but wasn't really working because of the hormones. 

"But this was our first, and we wanted it to be special and private. And now that got taken away from us just like everything else." He knew what she was referring to. Both of their parents gotten taken away from them at a young age which was hard for the both of them and even their engagement. They never got to experience sharing something like that since they are in the public eye.

"It just looks like everyone is disappointed, I saw that in Kai's eyes. They don't want us to have a baby I j-just know it. Maybe this was a mistake-"

"Love, nothing was a mistake. The only mistake was the person who leaked the info and are about to get his butt kicked by five angry ninja. You are not a mistake, neither is the baby, or us. The media wants to have everything first, but we can change all of that by making those setbacks into a step forward."

Nya sighed, pecking Jay on the cheek, "Maybe your right, it's just a step forward. And they may know that we are having a Walker baby, but they will never know the experience of going through the motions. You give good advice, love. You're going to be an amazing father. "

"And you're going to be an amazing mommy for our baby girl."

"I'm still betting on a boy."

Jay went onto his knees and kisses her clothed tummy, "You know little guy, whenever you get out of the womb and grow up you're really going to wonder what in the world is this family. But all I know is that you are going to have mommy and daddy behind you all the way through whatever mess we get ourselves through. We love you."

"You think he'll remember that when he's a teenager?" 

"Let's not get too far ahead of ourselves." Jay smiled, rubbing the back of his neck with a blush on his face. 

This is kind of a mess, but was kind of inspired by the recent news of Zayn and Gigi's pregnancy. Especially the interview with Jimmy Fallon and one of the confession Gigi made. So this happened. Hope y'all enjoyed!
