When she was hitting the buttons on the keypad, she must have missed the top ones, because when the elevator stopped on floor seven, she panicked, stepping out into the hall. It was just a bunch of doors, leading to apartments, as she expected. But, there had to be a way down, a set of emergency stairs on the outer side, anything she could use to get out of the building. She suspected that the moment she left, Maxwell had called his goons to stand by all the exits so she wouldn't get out, it wasn't far-fetched, he was the leader of this place after all, he could do whatever the hell he wanted. This was his playground, and she was a pawn trying to escape from its many trappings. She stopped at one of the doors, realizing she recognized the name engraved into the plate

Adrianna 'Bunny' Bretzill

The name, Bunny, reminded her of that girl she had met when she had made it to the building lobby. She knew that if she was going to get out of here under the detection of Maxwell, the was going to need help, someone that knew the ins and outs of this place, and who better than someone who lives there? Although it hadn't been very long since they had first been acquainted, it felt like a long time. If Harmony was right about who she was, if she could just tell this girl that she was here against her will, maybe she would be willing to help her create a more successful escape plan.

Every moment she stood in that hallway, the chances that he would walk off he elevator and spot her got higher. She had to get out of the open. She walked up to the door, knocking on it repeatedly with an urgency

"Help me! Please!" she called through the wood, hoping that whoever lived there was actually home. Because, if they weren't she was talking to air. Bunny answered the door, she couldn't ignore the banging anymore, to sight the girl, she immediately remembered her, she had been the girl in the nightgown that everyone was so curious about. Her eyes widened, an unexpected visitor indeed, but a welcome one. Harmony looked up at her with wide, panicked eyes, and the girl smiled kindly, widening the door so that she could come in. Harmony let out a breath of relief, hurrying inside and watching as her host shut the door behind her. The apartment was smaller than Maxwell's, the decor was entirely different, and it was a nice size for a single person to live in, not like her tiny old apartment.

"The girl in the nightgown" Bunny claimed, a smile on her lips. Harmony almost laughed, that's how she remembered me? the random girl that was walking around shoeless in a nightgown. "To what do I owe the pleasure of this visit?"

"Please, you have to help me get out of here" Harmony tried, and Bunny held up a quizzical eyebrow "A secret set of stairs! emergency exits! anything!"

"But, why would you want to leave?" Bunny asked, sitting down on one of the high chairs parked next to the kitchen island "Why can't you just use the front door?"

"Because Maxwell will stop me from leaving, he wants to keep me here!" Harmony responded, starting to pace the floor of the living room by the couches. "Look, Bunny..." she lifted her head to the woman silently watching her, drinking coffee from a porcelain mug. "I was kidnapped!" Bunny's eyebrows raised mid-sip, putting down the cup

"What do you mean? who kidnapped you?"

"Maxwell!...well, technically it was that dude with the blonde hair and freaky goth eyeliner-"

"Spike?" Bunny inquired

"Yes! Spike did! And then he gave me to Maxwell as some sort of ward! I've been trapped in his condo on the top floor for almost two months! he said that if I tried to escape he'd kill me!"

"You've been bunking at Maxwell's for two months?" Bunny asked, her disbelief palatable. Maxwell was a quiet guy, a secretive one that enjoyed his space and alone time more than anything. It was hard to believe Maxwell would let anyone live in his place, let alone some random girl. She approached Bunny, grabbing her roughly by the shoulders to her surprise "Please, you have to help me escape that guy! he's going to kill me!"
