After meeting Gabriel Owens, I often saw him here and there now at the Sol Academy. Good to know that I never saw him being cornered into a wall again. We never really talk but when we walk passed each other, he would give me a small polite smile.

"Hey, Chester?" I said. "Do Rohan know who Gabriel Owens is?" I asked.

"You know I'm right here, right?" Rohan said, annoyed that I did not even bother to ask him that question directly.

"Hmm, yes, why?"  Chester answered. Playing along with me. "How do you know him?" He asked. Oh, so he also knew that his family never introduces Gabriel Owens to the public?

Well, I cannot just say, ' I just knew', right? Hmm, what should I say? "Well, my parents used to know his parents..." I muttered. I hope my parents really know Gabriel's parents. I do not want to get caught lying and seem creepy. "How do Rohan know him?" I asked.

"Again, I'm right here, Yohanan." Rohan butted in again. Now, sounding more annoyed. "Why are you ignoring me?" He asked.

Sheesh, " If I ask you, you will not answer my question." I said.

"What makes you think that?" He asked.

"Then..."  I began. " How do you know Gabriel Owens?" I asked.

"Why do you want to know?" Rohan asked me a question back.

                      "See?" I said.

Rohan furrowed his eyebrow when he realise he fell into my trap. Chester just laughs and decided to answer that question in Rohan's place, "His parents used to be the emperor personal entertainer. So, they met quite a few times. Dinners and such." He said.

Oh? I never knew that. Gabriel Owens is like a new character now. It is not like Gabriel Owens in the game. Did I change so many things that even him change as a person as a consequence?

Ah, I have spent half of the year thinking about these changes now. Every time it crosses my mind, it makes me feel like I want to lie down and take a break just like now. Right now, we are waiting for Mr. Berry to arrive. Since he always came late, we now always laid a picnic mat under the treehouse and rest for a while. We go straight to here after school every day, so it is only understandable, we can be tired sometimes.

"I'll grab some foods from the treehouse," Chester said before walking towards the treehouse ladder and slowly climbing it up.

I just stare at him climbing it up until I cannot see him anymore when he reaches the top.  Then, I sighed. "Rohan?" I said.

Rohan who already started reading a book paused his reading and turns to look at me. Since he is sitting just beside him, all he got to do is look to his right and down a bit. " What?" He asked.

"Don't you feel so many things are changing right now?" I asked while my eyes are glued to the blue sky ahead.

"Changes are bound to happen as times go by." He answered. There he is, never answering my question straight just like always. "Why do you ask that?" He asked.

"I don't know," I said. "So many things happened to me. Some I like and some I don't. But that never really worries me until now. I kept thinking. Will these changes save me in the end or will it lead do a much darker ending?" I said. He will not understand what I mean by that, but I really hope he does. But I cannot just tell him that I have memories from my past life and this world is a world from a game, and I am not supposed to be their friend and all. But only if I can, will they understand me? The only one who sort of understands me is my mother and she is gone... I miss her.
