Chapter 5.

December 1, 2035

Matty's POV (Pic of Ashtyn --->)

I love the feeling of waking up beside my sexy fiancé, it's my favorite, being all tangled together under the quilt.

"Wake up, baby girl.." I whispered softly and let my lips trail along her bare shoulder, I heard her giggle softly, before her eyes opened, causing her green ones to meet my hazel ones.

"What time is it?" Soph yawned as I pushed her onto her back and hovered above her.

"It's just past eight thirty, baby girl." I grinned down at her, this woman has managed to completely turn my world upside down, but I love her for it.

"What time are we leaving?" she asked again and yawned this time, making me chuckle at how adorable she is. I'm so glad I took the dare from Colton to ask her out.

>>>FLASHBACK- JUNE 15, 2040<<<

"Hey man," Colton smirked as I joined him out on the back porch and he handed me a beer, which I gladly accepted.

"Hey," I groaned and took a long swig of the beer, I so fücking need this right now.

"You don't seem like yourself, not to sound like a chick...but what's bothering you?" he asked as he turned toward me completely, I had to avoid looking him in the eye.

"Sarah and I broke up." I mumbled and took another sip of my beer, I heard Colton spit out the beer he'd just swallowed.

"You're fücking kidding, right?" he laughed. "There's no way...the two of you were soul mates; again, not to sound like a chick."

"She broke up with me. Apparently, there's another guy she loves more. She wanted to follow him to Australia or whatever." I sighed and finished off my beer, this is my fourth one since waking up this morning. I admit, I might have a slight alcohol addiction, ever since Sarah and I broke up.

"Sorry bro, I know you'll find someone special to love you and Luke someday..." he offered me a smile, which I didn't return. I doubted his words; once girls find out I have a kid they run to the hills and never look back.

"So...you're pretty close to Sophia, right? Like you're her best friend or something..." I started, Colton turned to look at me with a weird look on his face, I think he knows where this is going though.

"Yea..." he drawled out, waiting for me to continue.

"Do you think she'd say yes if I asked her out? She's kinda hot, I admit..." I whispered and looked down, what the hell? I've never been this shy about a girl before.

"I dare you to, Matt. Just go for it. I may be her best friend, but I've never even thought of drifting into the 'dating' category, but if I had to guess, I'd say you're her type." Colton laughed and shook his head. "So are you gonna do it? You have to, I dared you..."

"Fine; but if this backfires, you're so screwed." I laughed as we headed inside, my breath caught in my throat when I saw Sophia leaning against the bar, talking to Colton's sister...I'm whipped.

>>END OF FLASHBACK<<

Believe it or not, Colton and I used to be friends, now we hate each other.

"We should probably leave here around eleven, I don't want to get back too late. I'm excited to tell Luke you're going to be his mommy." I smiled as I got out of bed, before lifting my sexy fiancé in my arms, walking her toward the shower.
