The gunshots echoed through the hallways once again. Following the gunshots were screaming. Screams not to far from me. I walked slowly to Johnny's classroom.
I don't even think they are going to let me in but it's worth a shot. The worst thing was I still couldn't shake the feeling that someone was watching me.
My heart was pounding out of my chest. As I was about to turn the corner, my breathing became harder and my hands became sweating. I turned and saw someone standing with their back facing me. I'm that moment I froze I couldn't move, think, speak, I couldn't do anything.
