Fresh Start ( Chapter 12 )

Amaya's POV

Back in Amaya's house........

Amaya : " Now, what was that? "
Aris :" I told you, already. "
Amaya : " But, Liam? "
Aris : " What about him? "
Amaya : " It's just too much of a shock. "
Aris : " You'll get used to it. "
Amaya : " If you know everything. Does it mean that you can see the future. "
Aris : " Everyone can. Most Titunite just can't or don't learn it. "
Amaya : " Then can you-"
Aris : " No. "
Amaya : " Oh come on. "
Aris : " I can see the future and that's cool but it will be my responsibility if someone tries to change their fate. "
Amaya : " Why are you always so serious? "
Aris : " I don't want to say anything stupid."
Amaya : " Well that explains it. Hey, can you-"

Before I can say anything he just disappeared out of thin air.

Amaya : " Seriously. "

I collapsed to bed and think about what just happened. Liam? A Titunite? That's new. I never thought of him like that considering his looks. He looks innocent or is he? No, not again. But it'll really be cool if we team up. I mean he's good looking, smart and has sense of humor. No wonder why many girls like him even Louis. O GOSH LOUIS WILL KILL ME. Ok just zip your mouth and you'll be fine.

I wonder where he is right now. Is he ok? What's with that emergency call? And he has a brother? I wonder if he's good looking too. O geez I'm starting to be like Louis. And Courtney. What's with Courtney? It's not like I'll rape him or anything. I won't have the courage to do that now that I think about it. I mean if she likes Liam then she can just say it that causing a commotion. She's just a spoiled little brat. I don't care if your rich or not. I think, I think Liam llikes me.

I took a shower, cook and ate dinner and lay on my bed. Can I really do this? Can I really be a hero? I still don't know what kind of challenge we will face. I hope I can handle it. It's a scary world out there. Just then......

*phone rings*

Amaya : " Hello? "
Liam : " Hey, Amaya. It's Liam. I know you're quite confused about me right now and I know it's a lot take in. "
Amaya : " You're right. So can you give me a proper introduction. Let's start again. "
Liam : " Haha. Hey, my name is Liam Nixon Thorn and I'm from a kingdom of Titus called Magitide. "
Amaya : " Hey, Liam. My name is Amaya Basque and I'm the princess of the kingdom in Titus called Infinite Ring which burned down when I was still young. "
Liam : " I'm so sorry, you're Highness. "
Amaya : " Hahahaha. Don't call me that. I'm not a princess here. "

We were having fun in our conversation and I hear a girl's voice on the other end of the phone.

? : " Liam, who's that. "

Wait... Is that Courtney? No way.

Liam : " No one. "
Courtney : " Liam, why don't you come here. We'll start soon. "
Amaya : " Liam? Is that Courtney?"
Liam : " Yeah, sorry I have to go."
Amaya : " I'll see you tomorrow."
Courtney : " Liam! Let's go. "
Liam : " Yeah, cool. "
*end calls*

I'm so stupid. Why did I think that Liam likes me just because our conversation in the clinic. Ok. Liam likes Courtney. It's not that of a big deal. But why do I get frustrated because of that fact. It's not like I like him or anything, right? I don't like him. He's just a playboy like everybody else. Why am I so disappointed? It's impossible for him to like me anyway.

Hey! I'm sorry if this chapter is kinda boring and short. But I'll make it up to you in the next few chapters.

Anyway, what do ya think about Amaya's thoughts about Liam? I know they are a little cheesy but hey, that's just how girls overthink. High school dramas are such a blur. But that's not the only thing this book is about. I guess I'll just see you on Tuesday! Love ya!
