Where is she? (Chapter 27)

Axcel's POV

After school I excitedly went to Courtney's house only finding she wasn't there.

" Sir, do you know where Courtney went?"
" No she's not here. Why do you need to see her? "
" We're supposed to work on a chemistry project. She told me to come here. "
" Really? She didn't say anything to me. "
" She probably just forgot. "
" Its fine. I'll call her instead. "

I began to worry about Courtney so I quickly got my phone and called her. The phone was ringing but she didn't answer. I tried again but it's no use. So I began searching on my contact list. Then I found Zhari's number. We're not close but it's worth the shot. I called her number and the phone was ringing.

" Hello? Who is this? "
" Guess. "
" Stop playing games. I don't care who you are. "
" Even if the guy you're talking to is really handsome? "
" Axcel? "
" So you actually admitted that I'm handsome? "
" No, you're just an overconfident flirt. "
" Don't be like that I know you're lying. "
" Anyway, why did you call me? Were you bored and have no other girls to flirt with? "
" No, I'm just looking for Courtney. Though that is a good idea. "
" How am I supposed to know where she is? "
" Zhari, who's that? " (Liam)
" Are you with someone? "
" It's none of your concern. It's not like your my boyfriend or anything. "
" Would you like it to be that way? "
" Zhari, it's time to go. " (Liam)
" Yeah, in a minute. Sorry, it's just my brother. "
" Is it? "
" What do you care? Whatever, I hope you find your girlfriend. "
" Bye. "

She's cute. I like her. But I still can't find Courtney. I made a few calls but they don't know where she is. So I just waited until she came back looking confident.

" Where have you been? "
