It had been a long time since he'd noticed this little boy around C City. He'd joined the Skull Hummer Guild, but was always beaten by his comrades.
If he remembered correctly, the boy's name was Ling Song.
He recalled the time they'd been in the same room, and the boy had never stopped asking him question after question, resulting in him answering each one.
He had said things he shouldn't have, but the kid was still so pure in this apocalypse that he wouldn't find anyone like him again. He felt like his secrets were safe in the hands of this kid if he died one day.
But he wouldn't die until the government was taken down by him.
He took a last glance at the kid, who passed by without noticing his group hidden inside a building.
"Boss, the government sent some people to capture us. We should keep going, otherwise—" Mei began, but her voice trailed off when she saw her boss's smile.
"Let's go."
