It has been almost three weeks since my meeting with KTA. The wound on Mark's shoulder had healed to the point where he could continue his work. He eventually cut all business ties with the group that shot him and everything went back to the regular routine. However, Mark became distant with me and barely gave me assignments. It's strange how everything seems perfectly fine between us, but then this idiot decides to change his attitude.

Mark had a meeting with the rest of NCT so I decided to call it quits for the day and head home. Again, it was quiet in the house so I decided to take advantage and have a little time for myself. Before I went exploring in his house, I went to my room to freshen up. I was going to grab some comfortable clothes but something caught my eyes. There was a manila folder placed on my bed. I picked up the file and saw that there were pictures of Jackson and I at KTA.

"What the?" I scanned every photo.

"Want to explain these?" I got startled by the voice and turned around to see Mark leaning against the wall with his arms crossed.

"Mr. Lee, I can explain." He gave me a chuckle before turning serious.

"Cut the crap Jae-hwa...or should I call you Y/N? You really thought you could get away with this?" I chuckled at his silly question.

"Well Mark, it took you awhile to figure it out, didn't it? I already got the information I needed about December 19th." He pushed himself off the wall and walked closer to me.

"But," He stopped walking as I continued. "It was a waste of time getting that information." He had confusion written on his face.

"What do you mean by that?" I took a deep breath before explaining.

"That night you got shot, I was going to tell you everything, but you were hurt and it was in my instinct to care for you first. Then you started to distance yourself so I could never bring it up to you even if I tried. But now I know why you have been ignoring me." I chuckled thinking about the pictures. "I'm done with KTA." A small chuckle escaped Mark's mouth.

"Why should I believe you?" Mark raised his brow at my statement.

"KTA is built on lies. All they did was lie to me and you guys trusted me, well some of you. The past weeks I have observed you, KTA was wrong about you. I mean you got shot because you actually followed the no arms deal and didn't bring weapons to your meetup. As a mafia leader, you should always bring weapons. I mean you can never trust mafias, but I trust you. You can be smart and manipulative but sometimes you can be an idiot."

"You're really going to call me an idiot? I can hurt you any second." He was now an inch away from my face. A smirk was growing on his face. I chuckled. "You wouldn't kill me. I'm confident in that." I responded effortlessly.

"What makes you say that." It was time to wipe that smirk off his face.

"One, I know you don't have a gun on you." I chuckled watching his confidence slowly crumble. "And two...you're in love with me."
