Good news, Ashley can be able to talk now. Early in the morning when Dra. Gomez called me and tell me everything about Ash, I felt a glint of joy. Hindi ko na siya masyadong nadadalaw dahil naging busy rin ako for the past weeks, nawala siya sa isip ko.

So today, I decided to visit her.

"She's improving more and more as days passed, I think not more than a month ay makakalabas na siya." si Dra. Gomez ang sumalubong sa'kin, she also accompanied me through Ashley's room.

"That's good to hear. But I have one question to ask, naaalala niya naman ang lahat, right?" I asked pertaining to what happened in the past.

Tumango ito, "Yes. Besides, she's suffering in depression, not amnesia."

Pilit akong tumawa, "Ah, yeah."

Hanggang sa makarating kami sa kwarto ni Ashley ay hindi na ako nagsalita pa, I can feel my stupidity rising as shit, and I don't know why!

Ako lang ang pumasok sa loob, naabutan kong nakatayo si Ashley at nakaharap sa pader, nakasuot ito ng hospital gown with her hands playing with her black long hair. And, she's also mumbling something?

Lumunok ako at saglit na nilingon ang pintuang nakasara na ngayon, I don't know if Ash is really doing better with her like this, tingin ko kasi ay lumala lang ito. And is she talking to the wall? Or mumbling some witch spell?

Tumikhim ako, "Ash?" I called her to get her attention. Nakita ko ang pagtigil nito sa ginagawang paglalaro sa dulo ng buhok niya, then slowly she turned her head to look at me.

Tinitigan niya ako ng matagal bago tuluyang hinarap, bawat hakbang na tinatahak niya palapit sa'kin ay siyang pagdalaw ng kaba sa'kin.

"Oh god!" nagulat ako ng takbuhin ako nito ng ilang hakbang nalang ang layo niya sa'kin, she then wrapped her arms around me and give a tight hug. "Jesus christ, are you possessed by some devil or evil spirit? Babaliin mo ba ang mga buto ko?" I joked, but then I can't hide the happiness I'm feeling right now.

"I am the queen of evil, you shall vow your head to your highness." she said flatly, nang humiwalay siya ay tiningala niya ako.

Umawang ang bibig ko, "What?" I knew it! Lumala lang siya lalo, ngayon ay queen of evil na ang tingin niya sa sarili niya!

But to my surprise, she laughed! Napuno ng tawa niya ang buong kwarto habang sapo ang tiyan, kunot noong napaatras ako sa pintuan.

"Your reaction is priceless!" she histerically laughed while pointing her index finger at me, napapahampas na rin siya sa tuhod niya.

And that's why she's here, in the mental hospital. Kailangan niyang gumaling kundi ay tuluyan na siyang mababaliw.

Malungkot ko siyang tiningnan, "You're getting crazy and crazier, you should follow your therapy." I advised.

Her laughed dies, seryoso niya akong tiningala at tinitigan. "I'm not crazy. Hindi ako baliw, Diether."

I nodded, "You're not, rest now Ash. I'll visit you again next time." pampalubag loob na sabi ko, every patient says the same line.

I was about to turn around when she pulled my arm, "Seriously, I'm fine. I'm still moving on, but I'm more okay now. Asher is gone, and I'm going to move on." she blurted pertaining to our lost son.

I looked at her over my shoulder, "Say that again?"

Matamis itong ngumiti, pinaharap niya ako sa kaniya at muling niyakap. "Asher is gone, our child is gone. I understand." she buried her face in my chest, umangat ang kamay ko para hagurin ang likuran niya. "I'm in my right mind all these times, I just want a piece of mind to think everything what happened and get over it."
