"I CAN'T BELIEVE IT. MY FIRST WEEKEND BACK HOME, AND MA SENT ME OUT FOR CHORES."

"Come on, E, this is refreshing, right?" Elinor laughed, bumping her shoulder with Ezme's playfully, "You just received a £10,000 paycheck. Shouldn't you treat your sister to something good?"

Ezme rolled her eyes, "Yeah, yeah, sure. Pick up whatever you want, sis."

The two Rousseau girls were sent on grocery duty that Monday morning, instead of doing their usual shift at the Deli. Ezme had a new, blue jeans mid-calf dress on and she forced Elinor to put on the floral white sundress she had bought as souvenir from Bangkok. They strolled side by side along the makeshift tents, looking around the displays.

The Country Market was one of Kingswear's greatest charm. It was a festival that celebrates the city's diversity, exhibiting the townspeople's handcrafts, vegetarian goods, hydroponic harvest, homemade goods, and so on. A dozen picnic tables were scattered across the park and right in the middle of it all was a rusty, pathetic swing set.

The Deli made their special pastry line every time a Country Market was up, entirely made from local fresh ingredients. Finding those ingredients were the girls' mission.

Elinor's phone rang and she pulled it out of her purse.

Elle Belle, where are you?

Why do you care, Beastly Weasley?

Sorry but HOW AM I BEASTLY??

It rhymes :)

Do you know about Beauty and the Beast?

"Who is it, Ellie?"

"Huh?" Elinor looked up from her phone. She typed in quickly: Country market, sent it to George, then put her phone back into her purse.

"Ooh..." Ezme teased, "Is it Monsieur George Weasley? Are you two officially together now? Cam told me you've been hanging out with him, like, at least two or three days a week. And he even came by our house for breakfast, all the way from London! How was it, by the way?"

"He's just a friend," Elinor said firmly to convince Ezme (and remind herself, actually).

"Keep telling yourself that," Ezme singsang, "How come you never speak about him whenever we call? I won't tell anything to Ma or Pa. I can keep secrets, I'm not Cam."

"There's nothing to tell."

"You can tell me now. There's nobody but us he—"

"What about pumpkin?"
