I sighed a relief as soon as I successfully set my son to his crib without waking him up. He's been crying nonstop for the past 30 minutes and I bet he's not in the mood so I just put him to sleep.
I looked at his peaceful features and I smile at the thought that he looks like me. It's just heart warming. Oh, Gabbi looks like Lauren. They are literally the perfect sample of mom and daughter.
"Mmmmummmm...mmmuuummm" I got caught out of my trance when I heard our daughter blubbered from the floor. She's playing with her toys.
"Hi, my princess... come on now and let's put you to sleep, too. Mom is coming home in an hour or two" I murmured and picked her up.
