I AM NOTHING compared to the tall, black gates which were guarding the entrance to St Vincent's Academy. I was finally here after a long, crowded bus journey which lasted fucking forty minutes.

Next time, I'll make sure to run for the fucking bus instead of just watching it arrive at the bus stop.

But I bet I won't. I'm too lazy for that shit.

I could see students staring at me with wide eyes, staring at me from head to toe.

How mannerless, I could sign them an autograph if they just asked. Fan behaviour.

From the corner of my eyes, I could see girls gawking at me and I would have almost taken that as them glaring at me.

I guess some bitches are jealous of me. Oh well, I don't blame them either.

No wonder I barely have friends, I can't stand people and mostly hate all of them.

They should probably get used to my face since they're gonna see me every other day now.

Poisonous words were about to leave my lips as I saw a girl throwing me a dirty look.

Yeah, fish eyes, consider yourself lucky or else I would have dug you six feet under my fucking heels.

I take a deep breath and remember my Dad's words.

Be on my best behaviour.

I'll try to be on my best behaviour since today is the first day.

No promises.

I look around the academy. It was fucking huge, nothing less from the top academy in the state.

I roll my eyes when I notice a boy staring at me, mostly at my legs which were on full display thanks to the short skirt.

I show him my middle finger and he gapes at me.

Maybe he expected me to show him both of my middle fingers. Hmm, I'll keep that in mind next time.

I start walking towards the main building, ignoring the stares I got. After a few minutes, I finally enter the reception.

"Good morning, I'm Anna Sinclair. The new scholarship student." I feign a smile as the name smoothly rolls off my tongue.

My father has insisted on using his maternal surname so I wouldn't gain any attention. If I used my legal surname then I would have turned this school upside down.

The power the Saint Laurent's held.

She tells some brief information before handing me some keys and a booklet.
