Fight Night
________________

TO KEEP UP with her best friend Namiko Grant, Ember Young hurriedly clicked her heels on the sidewalk. Her pinky toes screamed in pain as if they were being devoured in flames as the strap of her shoes cruelly pinched them.

Namiko had persuaded Ember to wear heels despite having never worn them before, although she had done so reluctantly. Ember's ankles trembled as she walked, attempting to keep her balance. She was uncomfortable with how tightly the burgundy dress clung to her body and constantly worried that it would rip. Ember struggled to understand how Namiko was able to dress in such attire every day. Ember, liked looser-fitting attire that didn't reveal too much of her figure.

Ember, with her petite frame and beautiful brown skin, possessed a perfect figure, featuring subtle curves in her hips and a perfectly shaped butt. She has full lips, button-nose, and almond-shaped eyes. Her presence always seemed to captivate the room, drawing all eyes towards her. Namiko, Black and Asian descent, had slightly thicker hips that garnered attention from both men and women.

Ember and Namiko had become inseparable best friends ever since the first day of middle school's sixth grade. Their friendship distinguished out from the rest because it was based on trust and loyalty. They had each other's backs through thick and thin and had an unspoken agreement never to cross one another.

"Namiko, where are we going?" Ember questioned her choice to let Namiko persuade her to go out that night as she examined their strange surroundings. Namiko kept taking her to various locations as the night wore on.

Ember, who was in the twelfth grade and sixteen years old, relied on Namiko to be the designated driver for the evening because she did not have a driver's license. Ember had her own reasons for not wanting to get her license, and one of those reasons was a fear of driving after a car accident. Ember's parents were nagging her to enroll in driver's education as her seventeenth birthday approached so they could buy her a car. Ember was unsure, though, and wasn't sure if she was prepared to enroll in the class.

As Namiko pulled Ember by her arm, she let out an exasperated sound, kissing her teeth in frustration, "Girl just come on and stop asking all those questions."

Ember couldn't help but feel a tinge of worry, hoping that Namiko wasn't leading them into any trouble. The thought of her parents discovering that she was out at a club instead of studying, as they had believed, made her fear the repercussions. The possibility of facing a never-ending punishment weighed heavily on her mind.

"I don't think we supposed to be on this side of town anyway. It look dangerous." Ember continued.

Namiko rolled her eyes, choosing to ignore her friend's concerns. She couldn't help but be slightly frustrated with Ember's seemingly innocent act that often spoiled their fun. Deep down, Namiko knew that Ember wasn't as innocent as she appeared. They had shared their fair share of sneaky adventures, engaging in activities behind their parents' backs that proved Ember had a mischievous side too.

Ember and Namiko came to a stop in front of a nearby door, not far from the club they had been at. A small crowd had gathered, with a few individuals attempting to gain entry, only to be met with resistance from the vigilant security guard stationed at the door. Despite their persistence, the guard firmly instructed them to leave, maintaining a strict stance on who could enter.

"What's up Nami?" The security guard, with his imposing, muscular frame, directed his attention towards Namiko. He loomed over them, his presence demanding.
