Downpour Of Tears

Nakaupo kami sa roof deck ng yatch habang nagsasaya ang mga bisita ko sa main deck ng yatch. We're stargazing, and drinking a good wine while cuddling with each other.

"Are you sure with your decision Lucas, I mean...there's no divorce here in the Philippines at once na maikasal tayo there's no turning back." Tanong ko sakanya.

"I'm pretty sure Isha, I'm a man of my words. I won't propose to you if I don't want to or I force myself to do it. Letisha, I decided to love you and cherish as a wife. Wala nang dahilan pa para umatras pa ako." Saad nito saakin habang mas hinipitan ang yakap sa bewang ko.

"Thank you so much, you know how happy I am tonight Lucas. Pinasaya mo ako ng sobra." Saad ko habang nakangiti at nakatingin sa langit. The stars shine so bright right now.

"I love you so much." Saad ko at saka humarap sakanya. He smiled at me.

"I love you too." Nagulat ako ng sumagot siya, I don't really anticipate him to tell that but my heart flutters and butterflies are all over my stomach right now.

It sounded so sweet and sincere as he said those while staring straight into my eye.

"Are you for real Lucas?..." may halong oagdududang tanong ko sakanya.

"Do you want me to repeat what I just said, I love you Letisha Odette Alcantara." Saad niya at inilapat niya ang noo niya sa noo ko. Tama bang sabihan niyang mahal niya ako? Ayokong magduda dahil gustong gusto ko ang pakiramdam noong sinabi niyang mahal niya ako.

Humiwalay ako sa pwesto namin at hinaplos ang pisngi niya.

"I may not tell you this before but, you became important to me as well before. Isha, I may be an asshole before pero natutunan din naman kitang pahalagahan, and I'm still learning how to love you even more. Things just gets so deep after I straighten all my decisions in life, at kasama ka na doon." I smiled at him and gave him a kiss on the lips.

"I never thought this day would happen, akala ko we would end up getting divorced, alam ko namang ibang babae ang mahal mo Lucas. And I don't want to be cruel for pulling you away from your happiness." Saad ko sakanya.

"You're my happiness Letisha. I may not realize it before but you are. For real..." he smiled at me.

Bumaba na kami at bumalik sa party, I had akready changed my clothes into a simple One piece and shorts, and my guests had changed as well. Ang iba ay hindi na sumama sa after party, most of the guests that were left are my friends from the same age at acquaintances. The ones who loved to party, syempre ang mga magulang namin ay umuna na rin.

Nakisama kami kay Skye, at Levi na nasa jacuzzi, pumwesto kami ni Lucas sa may railings at sumandal lang. Ayoko din namang mabasa.

"Asan si Nick?" Tanong ko sakanila.

Levi shrugged. "Maybe talking to his girlfriend, may tumatawag sakanya kanina eh." Sagot nito.

And speaking of the devil, naglalakad ito papunta saamin. Nakipagkamay ito sa mga kaibigan niya. Levi and Lucas, wala lang si Noah dahil sa hindi malamang dahilan, sabi niya ay pupunta siya pero mukhang hindi ata.

"So pinauuwi ka na ba ng bantay?" Panunudyo ni Lucas kay Nick na ngumiti lang at umiling.

"It's about work, not Steph." Saad nito saamin na naka harap sa dagat at nakatuon ang siko sa railings ng yatch. Steph is his long time girlfriend minsan ko na iyong nakitang kasama ni Nick sa club ko.
