the next day at school, soobin and aera were found conversing by aera's locker. ever since aera opened up about her past with mark, she had grown on soobin.

there wasn't anything he was going to do about his feelings at that point. his gut feeling continued to push him into going through with the bet.

as much as he didn't want to hurt aera, he already had by agreeing at the start.

"are you going to beomgyu's party later?" aera asked soobin as they walked together to the literature classroom.

"who's boomgyu?" soobin asked as aera stifled her laughter.

"it's beom-gyu. stop being adorable choi," aera teased.

soobin pouted in response but broke out into a smile after aera's constant giggles which earned the attention of most students.

"i wasn't invited anyways. even if i was, i wouldn't go," soobin snobbed only gor aera to playfully roll her eyes.

"well, it's not a choi beomgyu party if the whole school isn't invited. besides, you're always so cooped up in bread and books,"

"correction milady, i'm cooped up in you and ice cream," soobin sent a flirtatious wink at aera who smacked his arm repeatedly.

"anyways, i'm going to the party because beomgyu hosts great ones every year!" aera beamed while soobin shook his head in denial.

"no thank you, i prefer to stay at home. have fun though!" soobin smiled warmly before walking off to his next class.
