Cathy POV
Jane rubs my back and my crying stops, she taps my lip and I nod, she leans in and kisses me, I kiss back. I blush as Jane pulls away, she pokes me cheek "you just love blushing don't you?" She asks and I playfully shove her,
"Shut uppp" I say and she giggles, she pulls me onto her lap.
"Wanna go downstairs?" She asks and I nod, we both stand up and I grab the bow tie and debate on whether I should put it on or leave it my pocket. "Wanna put it on?" She asks and I nod, she helps me put it on and I tuck my necklace under my jumper. I tap her hand and she grabs it, we both walk downstairs.
"Hey girls," my uncle says and I give him a small wave, Jane smiles and brings me to the couch.
1 hour later
I lean my head on Janes shoulder, we were still holding hands and watching Christmas movies. Jane grabs something and hands it to me, she kisses my head and I look at her confused. "I never gave you your Christmas present" she says and I nod, I sit up and let go of Janes hand for a second. I open the present, pens and notebooks, and a ring. "You don't have to wear it, but it's one of mine and I dunno, I thought you might like it MPH" I cut her off by kissing her, she kisses back and I pull away. The rest of my family was paying attention to the TV so they didn't even look at us.
"I love it Jane," I say and put it on. She smiles and I could barley even see her blush, "look who loves to blush now" I say and she giggles,
"SHHHHZZZZ" Will yells and I cuddle close to Jane. She taps my waist and I tap her hands, she wraps her arms around me and I put my hands on top of hers. She starts singing softly in my ear making me really tired,
"Go to sleep, I'll be right here when you wake up" she says and I turn on my side and lay my head on her chest, I yawn and Jane giggles "night Cathy" She says and I close my eyes
"Night Janey" I say.
Jane POV
I start to draw patterns on Cathys wrist and she has a small smile on her face, I run my finger along the side of her head moving her hair behind her ear. I smile as she starts to move closer to me despite there being no space between us. "Jane, do you want a blanket?" Ms.Green (Cathy Mom) asks me and I nod,
"Please" I ask and Cathy moves again, Ms. Green stands up and puts a blanket over us,
"I've never seen her just cuddle up next to someone and just fall asleep" Ms. Green says and I smile,
"She does it all the time when she's with me" I say and Ms. Green smiles,
"She must really like you then" she says and I nod,
"I hope she does because I really like her too" I say and Ms. Green smiles at me,
"Mom! Look it's snowing so much!" Will says and runs to the window, Ms. Green looks out the window and looks at me.
"I guess we're probably gonna stay here for the night" Ms. Green says, some of Cathys family had left but some were still here. Cathy moves again her leg brushing against mine, I blush a little and look back at Ms. Green.
"How about you wait another hour and if it stops then you can drive home and if doesn't stay here" Cathys Grandma says, and Cathy opens her eyes and looks at me. She groans and closes her eyes again, I giggle and she puts a finger in my lips,
"Shhhhh, I wanna sleep" she says and I smile, I pull the blanket to her shoulders and she closes her eyes and goes back to sleep.
2 hours later
"Jane, I'm gonna call your mom. We're gonna stay here for the night, it's snowing too much and Cathy would kill me," Ms. Green says and I nod. Cathy was still sleeping and she keeps waking up as soon as I move my hand off of her hand.
"I dare you too do it again Jane" Will says, I sigh and take my hand off of Cathys hand. She opens her eyes and glares at me.
"Nooo" she says and grabs my hand, Will laughs and I giggle. She sits up and turns around and straddles me, "stop doing that" she says and I turn bright red. She leans her head on my chest and closes her eyes, "goodnight" she says and I turn more red after she grabs my hand.
"Jane, you are soooo red" Ms. Green says and takes a picture, "your brother is gonna love this picture" she says and probably sends it to my mom,
"I know he is. This is gonna suckkkk" I say, I let go of Cathys hand and she sits up.
"Jane Marie Seymour, stop doing that. Let me hold your hand while I sleep or I'm not going too" Cathy says and I stare at her,
"You're very bossy when you're tired. Did you know that?" I say smiling, she stand up and turns around so that she laying down with her back pressed against me.
"Yes I did know, now let me sleep." She says and I giggle, then she sits up and looks at me "wait, aren't we supposed to be at ho-" the power goes out and Cathy screeches and moves so that she was curled up in my lap. Her grandma turns on a flashlight,
"Looks like we're gonna be cold tonight."
