22. Prom

ALRIGHT MINI TORTULES! TWO YEAR TIME SKIP! LEZ GO!

Cathy POV
I look at dresses. "Oh my gosh Cathy! Just pick one! It's not your wedding day it's just a prom dress!" Taylor whines and I laugh,

"I know, be patient." I say and Taylor glares,

"Yeah well guess what? I'm very impatient and the longer you take the longer it takes for me to get some chicken nuggets which I REALLY want right now so chop chop!" She exclaims and out of the corner of my eye I spot a blue dress.

"That one." I say and grab it,

"Okay! Hurry up! Go try it on!" Taylor exclaims and I laugh walking into the dressing room.

A few minutes later
I look in the mirror and open the curtain, mom and Taylor smiling at me. "Oh that's perfect."

"I feel like I'm trying on wedding dresses," I whisper and Mom laughs.

"Well I'm sure a wedding's gonna happen after you graduate college." Mom says and I blush knowing she was talking about Jane.

"M-maybe," I whisper and smile. "I like this one," I say smiling.

PROM NIGHT BISHES
I pace around my room, "Cathy stop pacing you're giving me a head ache." Taylor says and I look at her.

"Well I'm nervous! What if Jane hates the dress?!" I exclaim and Taylor slaps my forehead, "what the he-" she grabs my hands

"Just shut up and stop pacing! Janes gonna love the dress! You look perfect and with Jane-" she pauses and laughs a little"-you guys are gonna look like royalty. You guys are perfect together. Perfect! Like... like you're soulmates or something. Like she's your fairy. So please stop pacing!" Taylor exclaims and I smile hugging her,

"Thank you." I whisper and she hugs me back, there was a knock at the door and I run down the stairs and try not to trip. I open the door to see a smiling Jane,

"You look-"

"Like a toad! I know-"

"I was gonna say like a princess." She says and I blush, she kisses me and I kiss back.

"Alright! Pictures!" Both of our moms exclaim and I frown.

"I hate pictures," I say and she steps inside. I smile and she wraps her arms around my waist and we smile as our moms take picture of us.

"Oh these are perfect!" Mom exclaims and I laugh,

"Lets go." I say and she smiles and takes my hand and we walk outside to her car.

At the school
I laugh as Catherine and Anna dance together. "Come on guys!" Anna exclaims and I shake my head.

"I'm good!" I exclaim and Anna shakes her head, Jane sits down next to me holding punch.

"You okay?" She asks and I smile,

"I just have a small headache." I say and she kisses my head, I smile and I sigh. "I'm gonna go to the bathroom really quick." I say and she nods,

"Kk," she says and I walk into the bathroom.

A few moments later
The door opens and I turn to see Thomas. "Oh my. Thomas! You can't be in here!" I exclaim and he laughs shaking his head,

"Does it look like I give a shit?" He asks and I look at him, he walks towards me and puts his hand on my waist. I lean back into the sink and glare at him,

"Get your hand off of my waist." I say and he shakes his head.

"You know you love me." He says and I shake my head,

"N-no. I love your sister," I can't believe I said that out loud for the first time. Sure me and Jane have been together for 2 years but we still haven't said 'I love you' yet.

"No. You love me." He says and kisses me. The  door opens to reveal Jane standing there shocked. I push him away and Jane turns around and runs out.

"Jane! Wait!" I shout and run out the door following her.

Random Fact: I never knew how afraid my sister was afraid of bugs until yesterday. We were in the car and there was a bug and it landed on her so she's screaming and crying and me and my mom are laughing and she's trying to drive and my sister climbed in the front see. My mom felt awful but I was like "that's the funniest thing I've ever seen"
