51. Maybe Baby?

2 year time skip because I cAn AnD i WiLl-

I'm pretty sure this book is gonna end soon which means I'll be crying-

Jane POV
I sigh and Mae squeals. "When are you gonna ask her?!" Mae asks and I shrug,

"Maybe tonight. I don't know. What if she says no?" I ask and Mae shakes her head,

"If you hadn't noticed Mama has been going through all of our baby pictures for like... months. Pretty sure she wants another baby," Mae says and I smile a little, Cathy walks in and walks. "MACADOWNDILLYS!" Mae screams (that's what me and my friend call McDonalds-) and Kat runs downstairs and squeals.

"Yes, I know I'm the best Mama in the world." Cathy says and Mae takes the bag and hugs Cathy and Kat also hugs her.

"Thank you!" Kat and Mae say at the same time and Cathy nods. I smile,

"Hi wifey." I say and she giggles and leans over the couch and kisses my cheek. "How'd the meeting go?" I ask and she shrugs,

"Could've gone better. Wish I wasn't a stuttering mess the entire time." Cathy says and I giggle,

"That's my favorite thing." I say and stand up, I hug her and Cathy smiles, "my stuttering baby." I say and she groans,

"Shut it Parr-Seymour." (I've never been so happy to write that in my life-) Cathy says and I giggle.

"Did you get me fries?" I ask and she nods, I kiss her cheek and run over to the bag and Anne walks down with bed head and I laugh. "Took a nap?" I ask and she rubs her eyes,

"Shush! Studying is hard," Anne says and I smile.

"Millie still here?" I ask and Anne nods and grabs a water bottle.

"We both fell asleep and now I'm gonna try to fix this." She says motioning to her hair and I laugh, "ooooo macadowndillys!" Anne says and Cathy shakes her head confused,

"Why do you guys call it that?" Cathy asks,

"Millie called it that, Anne got it from Millie, I got it from Anne, Mae got it from me and it stuck." Kat says and I nod, "OH! Did I tell you guys?!" Kat asks and I shake my head and Cathy steals one of my fries, "Maes got a girlfriend." Kat says and Cathy nearly chokes. I pat the back of her head as Cathy coughs,

"Since when?!" Cathy asks and Mae sinks into her chair,

"2 months."

"TWO MONTHS?!" Cathy screams and Mae nods. "When we're you gonna tell me?!"

"After I told Mom..."

"Why do you always get to know everything first?" Cathy asks pouting and I pull her into my lap and she blushes,

"Because I'm the favorite."

"Aw man," Cathy mumbles and I giggle and kiss her temple making her blush more. I sigh and lay my head on her shoulder,

"Just like high school." I say and Cathy rolls her eyes, "Anne's in high school now-"

"Shush! You make me feel old!" Cathy exclaims and I giggle. "I'm gonna go work on something. I'll be back." Cathy says and runs upstairs,

"She means look at our baby pictures." Mae whispers and Kat frowns, "what's wrong?" Mae asks.

"I'm the only one who didn't get a significant other by 8th grade." Kat says and I giggle and kiss her temple,

"Haha!" Mae teases and Kat glares,

"I'm gonna tell Allison what you said," Iat says and Mae gasps,

"NO! I TAKE IT BACK!" Mae yells and Kat smirks,

"That's what I thought." Kat says and I smile.

Later that night
I open Kat and Maes door to hear Mae sleep mumbling and Kats snores, I quietly shut their door and walk over to Anne's door to see that Millie was asleep laying across Anne while Anne had a pencil behind her ear and asleep against the wall and I roll my eyes before grabbing my phone and taking a picture of them. I walk over to Anne and take the pencil out from behind her ear and set it on her desk before walking back to me and Cathys room.

I peck Cathys lips and she smiles. "So, I wanted to talk about something." I say and Cathys face drops,

"Did I do somet-"

"No! Nononono you didn't do anything wrong it's just something that's been on my mind for a while." I whisper and sit across from her.

"So what is it?" Cathy asks and I sigh,

"It's just that I was thinking about something and I don't think you'll say yes but." I take a deep breath and fiddle with my wedding ring, "d-do you wanna have another baby?" I ask and Cathy squeals and hugs me.

"Yes! Of course I want to have another baby! And if I'm being truthfully honest, I was gonna ask you the same thing earlier today but I'd don't because I got scared." Cathy whispers and I smile and pull away from the hug and kiss her and she kisses back. After a couple seconds Cathy pulls away, "I love you Janey." Cathy whispers and I smile,

"I love you too." I whisper and she smiles.
