Cathy POV
The next day
I smile and Jane taps my hand, I smile and grab her hand. "So you never broke your foot." Jane says and I shake my head,
"No I just have a bunch of bruises." I say and Jane smiles before kissing my head,
"I think Maes gonna be very happy that you'll be home." Jane says and I nod,
"Wh-what happened to Thomas?" I ask and Jane bites her lips,
"H-he didn't make it." She mumbles and I frown and hug her with my good arm and I knew that she was gonna cry. I frown and look at her before wiping away her tear. "I'm fine. Let's go pick up the girls." She says and I nod and grab her hand.
"Okay." I say and I kiss her cheek and she smiles.
At the school
"Mama!" Mae exclaims and I smile and she hugs me tightly. "I made you a card!" Mae exclaims and she shows me, I smile and she hands it to me.

I smile and look at the pictures she had drawn all over the paper. "Thank you buba."
"Kat for the last time. No boyfriend."
"What about girlfriend?" Kat asks and I stare at Jane who's eyes had gone wide,
"No girlfriends either. No dating." Jane says and Kat whines,
"But Anne has-"
"I dO nOt!" Anne exclaims and Kat nods,
"You told me!" Kat exclaims,
"I didn't tell you anything!" Anne exclaims and I giggle and look at Mae.
"I love you Mama." She says and I smile and kiss her cheek.
"I love you too." I whisper in her ear.
Later that night
Jane POV
"Mommy! He's my boyfriend!" Kat exclaims and I shake my head,
"Kat. No." I say and she whines,
"But I love him." She whines and I pull her blanket to her chest.
"Kat. Baby. You're too young." I say and Kat shakes her head,
"Please Mommy." She says with puppy dog eyes and I kiss her head.
"No KitKat." I say and she rolls over and grabs her stuffed animal. "Goodnight KitKat." I say and she doesn't respond and I sigh and walk over to Anne.
"Mommy." Anne whispers and I hand her her stuffed animal which she takes. "I think Kitty's mad at you." She says and I nod,
"She is. But KitKat's too little to have a boyfriend." I whisper and Anne looks at me,
"What about me?" She asks and I kiss her head,
"You're too little too." I say and she frowns,
"Does that mean I have to tell- never mind." She says and I give her a small smile,
"I love you Annie." I say and she smiles,
"I love you too. Night Mommy." I say and I kiss her head, "oh! I have a loose tooth!" She exclaims and I smile,
"That's great Annie." I say and she smiles,
"Goodnight bug." I say and I walk over to Kats bed to see her staring at her wall. "I love you KitKat." I say and she rolls over, I sigh and shut off the light before walking into my room.
Janey: Kats mad at me
Cathy: why?
Janey: because I said no to her having a boyfriend
Cathy: oh. How mad is she on a scale of 1 to 5
Janey: 4 1/2
Cathy: good luck with getting a Goodnight for the next two days then.
Janey: she's so mad. Anyway, how's your arm?
Cathy: meh (it just tried to correct meh to MeGgYmEgGyMeGgY), it hurts a little bit but overall not to bad.
Janey: and the stitches?
Cathy: everything's good.
Janey: That's good.
"Mommy?" Anne whispers walking into my room,
Janey: I have to go. Anne's up.
Cathy: okay. Night Janey.
Janey: night Cathy.
"What's up bug?" I ask and she climbs on my bed,
"I can't sleep." She whispers and I lay down, "I wanna sleep in your bed." She says and I smile and kiss her head,
"Just for tonight." I say and she smiles and cuddles up next to me.
"Goodnight Mommy," she says and I rub her back,
"Night Annie." I whisper and she falls asleep.
The next morning
I frown and Kat sits on the couch playing with the strings of her hoodie. "Hunny?" I ask and she ignores me, I sigh and sit down next to her. "Kat? Can you put your shoes on?" I ask and she still ignores me. "Kitty, I love you. And, I'm sorry." I say and she stands up and puts her shoes on before looking at me then back at the door. I sigh and Anne walks over,
"Lets go get in the car." I say and I open the door and they walk out.
At school
Kat POV
I sigh and Mae smiles. "Hi Kitty!" She exclaims and I give her a small smile,
"Hi Mae." I say and she sits down next to me,
"Hey Kat!" Thomas exclaims and I smile,
"Hi Thomas." I say and he hands me a flower,
"I found this." He says and I smile more,
"Thank you." I say and he walks over to his friend.
At recess
I laugh at Thomas making weird faces, "Thomas." I say and he smiles, "I can't be your girlfriend anymore." I say and he frowns,
"Why not?" He asks and I frown,
"My mommy said I couldn't. But I'll still be your friend." I say and he smiles,
"Okay." He says and I smile, "Wanna play hopscotch with Mae and Andy?" He asks and I nod before running over to Mae.
See- put the weapons down.
Random Fact: WHEN I WAS KINDERGARTEN THERE WAS THIS BOY AND I CANT REMEMBER HIS NAME TO SAVE MY LIIIFFFFEEE, ANYWAY HE WROTE ME A CARD AND IT SAID 'I LOVE YOU' AND DEN I WROTE HIM ONE BACK TELLING HIM I LOVED HIM TOOOO. ONE WEEK LATER I FOUND OUT THAT HE LIKED SOMEONE ELSEEEE, SO I SPENT THE ENTIRE TIME WHEN WE WERE MEANT TO BE READING CRYINGGGGG. So kindergarten me was heart broken, me now is like 'boys...
