Six-Is-My-Life gave me the line 'I don't think I should I wouldn't be good enough for you' on the chapter where Jane asked Cathy out so GUESS WHO'S USING DAT TODAY-
Jane POV
I sit up and Cathy shakes her head. "I-I can't," Cathy says and I could feel my heart break and I look at her.
"Why?" I ask and Cathy looks at me,
"I-I shouldn't have even said yes to going out with you in the first place." Cathy mumbles and I get a few tears in my eyes,
"What?"
"I wouldn't treat you good enough, I wouldn't be good enough for you. I-I mean I cheated on you which is the reason why we broke up in the first place a-and-"
"But you said you didn't cheat on me." I say and Cathy let's a tear fall, "did you lie?" I ask and she shakes her head,
"N-no. I feel like I d-did though, I never pushed Thomas a-away. L-like you said at the coffee shop." Cathy says and I wipe away a tear that had fallen. "I-I'm not good enough f-for you-"
"You're everything to me though, other than Anne and Kat." I say and she shakes her head,
"I-I can't be your girlfriend Jane. I-I'm sorry." Cathy says and I stand up,
"I-I'm gonna go home." I say and Cathy nods,
"O-okay." She mumbles and I walk into Maes room and pick up Anne who jumps.
"Mommy?" Anne asks and I nod,
"We're gonna go home." I whisper and set her down, she nods and then I pick up Kat who stays asleep.
"I'm gonna day bye to Cathy." Anne mumbles and I nod as Anne walks into Cathys room.
Anne POV
No I wasn't asleep, I'm just good at faking and the walls are really thin. Now I'm gonna talk to Cathy. I open her door and she sits up, "hi Anne." She says and I walk over to her,
"Fairies are a once in a lifetime thing, right?" I ask and she gives me a confused look and but nods her head.
"Yes, they're a once in a lifetime thing." Cathy says and I frown,
"Then why are you saying no to your once in a lifetime?" I ask and Cathy gives me more of a confused look. "Why are you saying no to your fairy?" I ask and Cathy sighs,
"Because I can't be with your Mommy." She says and I frown,
"Do you love her?"
"Wh-what?" Cathy says,
"Do you love my Mommy?" I ask and Cathy shrugs,
"I don't know." Cathy mumbles and I hug her leg,
"Think about it. Then tell me. Bye Cathy." I say and she waves,
"Bye Annie." She says and I run out of the room to see Kat rubbing her eyes tiredly.
"Where are we going?" Kat asks and I take her hand,
"Home."
"Oh." Kat says and we walk downstairs and saw Mommy wiping something off her face and she grabs the car keys.
"You girls ready?" Mom asks and I nod, Kat climbs on my back and I giggle.
Cathy POV
The next day
"Mama!" Mae exclaims and holds up a book. "Wanna read?" Mae asks and I shake my head,
"Not right now buba." I say and run my fingers through my hair,
"Oh. Well maybe later." Mae says and I nod,
"Maybe after lunch okay." I say and she smiles,
"Yeah!" She exclaims and I grab my phone. I call Taylor and she answers almost right away.
"So. How was last night? You-"
"Can you come over?" I ask,
"Be over in 20" she says and hangs up.
20 minutes later
"The greatest person alive is here!" Taylor exclaims and walks in, Mae smiles and hugs Taylor.
"Hi auntie Tay." Mae says and Taylor smiles,
"Hi Mae-Mae." Taylor says and Mae grabs her book,
"I'm gonna go read." Mae says and I nod and kiss her head.
"Okay. Love you." I say and she runs upstairs,
"Love you too!" She exclaims and I look at Taylor.
"What ha-"
"Jane asked me to be her girlfriend-"
"OH MY GOD! That's great!" She exclaims and I could feel the tears building up,
"I-I said no-"
"Oh come on." Taylor says and I run my eyes, "why?" Taylor asks,
"Because, I'm not good enough for her." I mumble and Taylor sighs,
"And?"
"And, I don't want to end up breaking up again. Wh-when we broke up the first time I was broken. I literally felt my heart aching and I just wanted to be in Janes arms. And, now it's the same, I want to be in Janes arms, I want to be with her-"
"You love her." Taylor says and I look at her,
"What?" I ask and Taylor sighs,
"Do you love her?" Taylor asks and I laugh,
"Why is everyone asking me if I love Jane?" I ask and Taylor shrugs,
"You need to talk to her, call her, just do something." Taylor says and I sigh,
"I can't-"
"You said you want to be with Jane. Do you want to be with Jane?" Taylor asks and I nod,
"Y-yeah." I whisper,
"Then tell her. Tell her why you said no, tell her everything you just told me and more because I can see it in your eyes-"
"See what?"
"That you love Jane." Taylor says and I sigh.
