Akasuki POV:

I woke up to smell something burning,I got out of bed and quietly went downstairs.I peek into the kitchen to see mother cooking breakfast."Mommy!Can I help?"I asked as I walked towards her.She flinched a little and sighed.She turned and looked at me."Mommy can make breakfast by herself,shouldn't you be sleeping with Iku?"She quietly asked."I don't feel sleepy Mommy,and Iku is sleeping perfectly quiet"I whispered.My mother smiled and she let me help make breakfast.A few minutes passed and Iku went downstairs crying."Mama,Onee-san is gone"Iku wailed.I gasped and I ran to my little sister"I'm so sorry Iku!I left without telling you!"I apologised again and again and Iku eventually forgave me.We had breakfast.Me,Iku and mommy.Why couldn't it just be us.Why did Father have to ruin it?We heard footsteps coming from the stairs.Mother picked me and Iku up and told us to hide.We hid inside a little box."Onee-san,why are we hiding?"Iku asked me.I put my index finger over my lips,telling her to be quiet.I looked through a small crack in the basket.Father was shouting at mother again.But this time he had a beer bottle with him.I hugged my little sister as father raised his beer bottle on mother...

~Time skip~

After Father left home,Me and Iku ran to our mother lying on the floor."Mama?Mama!Are you okay?"Iku asked.She looked at me and started to cry."Onee-san,What happened to Mama?Why us she covered in ketchup?"She wailed.I patted her head softly and told her to calm down.I went upstairs to find some bandage and went back downstairs.Mother was already awake.I handed mother a wrap of bandage and she covered her head with it."Thank you Akasuki,and can you take Iku outside,I want you two to forget what had happened."Mother smiled softly.I nodded and took My little sister's hand.We went out to the park.I let my sister play in the swings while I pushed her high as I could.I then thought of a idea."Iku?I want to tell you something!"I shouted.Iku stopped swinging and jumped from the swing."What is it Onee-san?"She curiously said."What if we became those popo thingy?Like..Police!"I said."What do they do again?"Iku asked me."They protect people from the bad guys and save people from danger!"I explained.Iku finally got the idea and jumped around."Onee-san You're so smart!"Iku praised me.I giggled and held out my pinkie finger."But you must be there too!If you are not there then Your oneesan will be cross"I said.Iku giggled and she wrapped her pinky finger around mine. (terrible Japanese incoming plus idk if I even wrote it correct so no hate-)

We sang cheerfully.We then decided to go home.While we were walking home.Iku stopped walking,I looked back at her and jogged to her."Lil sis are you okay?"I tilted my head.She shook her head as she was breathing heavily.I started to panic,and nobody was near us.I then shouted for help,but nobody came.Iku tugged on my shirt and she smiled.
"I broke the promise Akasuki..."
and those were her last words.I stood there.Everything around me disappeared.I no longer saw meaning to life anymore.

~Night~

I couldn't sleep at all.I decided to go downstairs to grab a glass of water.I went downstairs and grabbed a stool.
I grabbed a glass and filled it with water.When I turned around,there was a note stuck on the fridge.I took the note and read it.I threw the glass to the floor,Its broken pieces cutting my skin.But I did not care because my mother had left me with a devil.

Nobody's POV:

Years went on and Akasuki had planned on killing herself.Her father barley fed her,Akasuki couldn't even stand anymore.Akasuki was so weak,her father thought of her useless and threw her out of the house.Akasuki picked up her stuff and walked down the road to a special place.She sat down in frount
of her sisters grave.Akasuki then held out her pinky finger and sang a little song."Akasuki?Is that you?"said a familiar voice.She turned around to see Talid and Bunny."Oh my god!You look awful!"Talid gasped and ran towards Akasuki."You're very pale and weak,what happened to you!?"Talid asked her.Bunny picked Akasuki up on her back,"We'll question her later,right now she is in danger"Bunny told Talid.The three of them left the graveyard and headed to Bunny's house."Mama went out with Richard,Dad is at work"Bunny explained.She grabbed a glass of water while Talid made some food.
Akasuki ate the food quietly but quickly."Akasuki,who done this to you?"Talid asked."My father didn't properly take care of me..."Akasuki replied.Talid stood up and carried her bag"I'll have a talk with him!"Talid said."Wait Talid!You can't just-"Talid left Bunny's house."Oh my god,Talid I swear to god..."Bunny muttered.Bunny stood but Akasuki grabbed her shirt."Let Talid do her thing"Akasuki whispered.Bunny looked at Akasuki and sighed."You are lucky to have someone like her,she gives people a cold start but she is really overprotective..."Bunny mumbled.Akasuki smiled softly as she continued to eat.A few minutes had passed and Talid came back,she was wearing different clothes."You're father was dealt be me,I'm sure he won't ever treat anybody like this again"Talid said."Did you kill him?"Bunny asked.Talid laughed a little,"Nah,I didn't,just got my clothes a little messy,but he is still alive."Talid smiled."Hey Akasuki,if you want,you can stay here,at my home"Bunny offered."That would be nice..." Akasuki muttered.
