After the anticipated return of Stray Kids's Serenity, fans were hoping that she would have a smooth return. Fans were blowing up on Serenity's return, excited for what she always brings to the group. However, today we got more news with Serenity, and it is not so positive (depends on your perspective).
Today, SM released a statement. It reads:
"Hello, this is a representative of SM Entertainment. We are here to confirm that NCT Jungwoo and Stray Kids Serenity are no longer in a relationship. They have departed due to communication issues, and mutually have decided to end the relationship for the betterment of their mental health."
JYP did not release a statement of their own, simply sharing the Dispatch update instead. After the recent news of Sunmi and Shownu, fans are upset at the double break-up in the past week.
