PROLOGUE

Being the new girl in town can be fun sometimes, you can be whoever you want to be because no one knows you, you can be the mean popular rich girl, or the complete opposite of that, you choose.

In a town like Mystic Falls, everyone knows everyone, so it doesn't go unnoticed when there's someone new rolling into town, especially now. Rowan Taylor, a 17 year old girl moved to Mystic Falls with her parents to as her parents would say 'start fresh'

Rowan was clueless of the supernatural, so when moving to Mystic Falls, she thought nothing of it, all she knew was that there were a couple animal attacks here and there, but that's as bad as it got, she never would've thought that what's suppose to be fiction, is real, and is living among her.

Having no clue about the supernatural could be a blessing to some, but how would you feel knowing, vampire, werewolves, and witches are real, and the people who are your friends are those creatures, and then you're just a human, you'd feel left out.

But not knowing is better sometimes, because in Mystic Falls knowing about the supernatural is dangerous, there's dangerous people in town, and they can use you to get to others, so watch out who you're becoming friends with.

Rowan Taylor could've made the best or worst choice in her life on coming to Mystic Falls. She never thought she's get caught up in this mess, but all in while this is happening, she's slowly falling for the enemy, that all her new friends want to kill, love is love though right? And even though deep down she knows this isn't true, she can't help but continue to say to herself "It's Mystic Falls, nothing bad happens here"

omg this is my first tvd fanfic!! i am so excited to write this, even though it's basically the storyline of the show. except for rowan taylor, i own her and her storyline/plots, everything else credits to julie plec and l.j smith
