TWENTY

ROWAN POV

"What?!" we both say at the same time. "You slept with Klaus?!" I say not believing it, "When" I say hoping it wasn't the day he kissed me because that would suck, "Almost Rowan. When he was in Tyler's body, I thought it was Tyler" Caroline defends herself, "Wow" I say, "Enough about me, you kissed him" she says, smacking my arm, "Ow" I say.

"It was after Elena transitioned, I collapsed and Rebekah healed me, then we went back to Klaus' place, and they had a fight, I spoke, he listened, then he kissed me" I say, "Just like that?" Caroline says, "Yeah?" I say, "So nothing more happened?" she asks, I look at her and see she's raising her eyebrows, "Ew Caroline. No. But I think almost..... but we stopped" I say, "Oh my Godddd" Caroline says, "You mad at me?" I ask, "I- No. It's not my business. I'm happy for you" she says quickly.

KLAUS POV

Despite being back in town, even though no one really knows I left, I had to since Tyler Lockwood got attacked by some hunter, even though I don't care about him, or his friends for that stunt they pulled, hybrids are a dying breed, so I have to protect the ones that are left, and that includes Tyler Lockwood.

ROWAN POV

I was walking into the school when I saw Rebekah approaching me, she hugs me, "Heard you had a run in with a hunter" she says, I look confused, "I have eyes everywhere" she says, I laugh, "I'm glad you're here Bekah" I say, she smiles and hands me a few flyers, "Help hand these out will you?" she asks me, I look at them and see she's hosting a party, "Yeah sure. What's the occasion?" I say looking at her,  "Just a little anti-curfew party at my new house" she says looking down. "Right" I say softly looking down remembering the events that happened with Rebekah and Klaus.

I walk around with her and pass out the invitations, some people even look honoured? that we're giving them one. Yeah apparently Rebekah and I have become somewhat popular, being the 'new' girls and all. We reach the history class, and I immediately think of Ric, how he won't be teaching us, he won't be teaching anyone ever. "Morning everyone. I'm throwing a little anti-curfew party at my new house. Starts in the fifth period, goes till whenever. Spread the word" she announced walking in handing out the invitations.

I look and see Stefan and Elena looking at Rebekah, I walk over to them, "Hey guys" I say quietly, "Hey Rowan" Elena says quietly, Stefan just smiles at me. "You're welcome to join, Elena. To bury the hatchet" Rebekah says approaching us handing Elena an invitation., "It's a pretty enormous hatchet" Elena says looking not very interested in Rebekah's party. "Well, I'm feeling generous of spirits" she retaliates back.

Elena sighs and picks up the flyer, "New house? Your brother finally kick you out?" Elena says, "He didn't kick me out, I left. Ask Rowan she was there" Rebekah says, "So you left the only person on Earth who actually likes you?" Elena says scoffing, "I like her" I say speaking up raising my eyebrows at Rebekah. It's silent between them all, "Well, your boyfriend liked me once. Actually, a lot more than once" she says looking at Elena smiling, Elena frowns.

"Come on Bekah, let's just go" I say grabbing her arm, but she holds her ground. "Why are you still in town, Rebekah? Don't you have anywhere else to go?" Stefan says speaking up for the first time, I still grab Rebekah's arm in hopes she'll leave, otherwise things will get ugly, I can see Elena vigorously tapping her pencil on the desk. "Well, history is my favourite class. Actually, where is Mr. Saltzman?" she says then pauses, this made me pause. I look at Elena and she looks as if she's about to stake Rebekah. "Oh that's right. I killed him" she adds looking right at Elena.

Elena stopped tapping the pencil, and threw it at Rebekah, she however, catches it, and throws it back at Elena, impaling her shoulder. Elena glared at Rebekah and stormed out, I go to follow her but Stefan stops me, "I got this" he says, I nod. I look at Rebekah, "Did you have to do that?" I sigh, she shrugs, "Anything to get under her skin" she says smiling, I sigh and look at the blonde Original who I call one of my best friends.
