EIGHT

ELENA POV

"I've been having these dreams for days now. The witches are trying to send me a message " Bonnie tells me, showing Klaus' family coffins. "I just can't believe you guys kept this from me for so long" I say still shocked that the coffins were here the whole time. "Stefan thought if you knew where the coffins were Klaus could threaten people to get the information out of you" Bonnie says, "Does Rowan know?" I ask, she shakes her head, "She seems to like Klaus, we can't trust that she won't tell him" she says.

"So these are the rest of his family?" I ask, "Yep. Elijah and two others" she tells me, her gaze goes on the last coffin, "This one we can't open. We don't know who's in it or what's in it. Only that I think my dream's telling me it will help kill Klaus" says walking over to the coffin.

I hear footsteps and see it's Stefan. "What the hell are you doing" he says looking at Bonnie, "I needed her to know about the coffins" Bonnie answers him, "And I needed you to keep her out of it Bonnie" Stefan says to her, "Rowan doesn't know if that's your concern Stefan" I tell him.

"I think I know who can open the coffin Stefan. And I need Elena to help me find her" Bonnie tells him changing the topic, "Find who? What are you talking about?" Stefan asks her, Bonnie walks over to us grabbing a piece of paper out her pocket, "I couldn't place her face at first. Then I realised" she says showing me the paper to reveal her mother, "Oh, my God. Bonnie" I say.

I give Stefan the paper and he looks confused, "Who is this?" he asks, "It's my mum" she answers him.

ROWAN POV

I woke up before Caroline this morning and snuck home noticing my parents were both gone, I needed a change in clothes. I walk in and see a note on the table, it read, "Honey. We know what we said was alot to take in. We understand if you don't want to see us for awhile, which is fine. We had to go on a business trip back to New York for awhile, we love you so much, stay safe. Love your parents"

I look at the note, and place it back on the table, not really sure what to think. I shake it off and go to my room and change and then head into my car and drive to the Grill. I need a drink. But as I'm about to head out, I get a text from Elena. "Down for a small roadtrip?" it says, I think for a minute, I think I need this, a few hours away from Mystic Falls, away from the supernatural. I text back "Yeah sure"

"So where are we going" I ask Elena and Bonnie, "To see my mum" Bonnie answers, "Really? Oh my God" I smile, "It's not what think it's for- Can we just tell her Bonnie?" Elena asks Bonnie, "Tell me what?" I question. They explain to me everything, where the coffins are, who's in them, and Bonnie's witchy dreams and how it's tell her about the coffin that can't be open, and that's why she's seeing her mum.

"I just can't believe I'm gonna see her. Or meet her, sort of, since I don't really remember her" Bonnie says, "You don't really talk about her" I say, "What's to say? She left, never wrote, not even when my grams died" she answers with a shrug. "Can we talk about Elena and Damon? or Rowan and Klaus" Bonnie asks.

As I say, "Me and Klaus?" Elena says "I'm not talking about it" Bonnie looks at me in the rear view mirror and then looks at Elena, "He kissed me. It's not gonna happen again" she says, "I almost kissed Klaus" I whisper, Elena turns around shocked, "What was that" I shake my head, "Nothing. What's this about you and Damon" Elena shakes her head, "I mean, was it good?" Bonnie asks looking at Elena.

"Yeah what's Damon Salvatore like as kisser?" I tease, "Doesn't matter" she answers, Bonnie and I look at each other with smirks, "That means it was" we say together. Bonnie's phone rings, she looks at it, "It's Stefan. I told him I'd call him as soon as I got the address" she says, "Ignore" I say.
