"HYUNJIN, NOW" Minho suddenly yelled, just as Felix was about to pull the trigger. Felix instantly turned around, watching Hyunjin storm in, hitting Felix with all his might. Felix fell to the ground, dropping the gun just next to him. Felix instantly reached for the gun again, but Hyunjin quickly kicked it away towards Minho, who quickly picked it up.
Hyunjin held Felix down, who was screaming, yelling, shouting, desperately struggling under Hyunjin's grip. "You can't lock me up, you don't have any proof!" Felix shouted in anger, but Minho simply chuckled, tapping on what seemed like one of the buttons of his jacket. "I'm sorry, but I do" he smiled as he took out a tiny camera. "You thought I'd actually be stupid enough to go in here without any proof?"
Without thinking I ran up to Minho, almost jumping in his arms, still bawling my eyes out. "But how, when-" I stammered, practically unable to talk due to the crying. Minho safely wrapped his arms around me, making sure to still keep the gun pointed at Felix. "I knew it would come down to this one way or another, so me and Hyunjin came up with a plan... That's why I had been gone so much."
"So when you told me you couldn't tell me about your plan, it wasn't even finished?" I sniffled, slowly looking up at his loving gaze. He shook his head, giving me a small peck on my temple. "I'm sorry I couldn't tell you, but for now let's get this all sorted out okay?" he asked sweetly while the police stormed in.
As they took over Felix, Hyunjin instantly stormed to Angelina, who luckily was still alive. What happened in the next two months after all went quick. Angelina had been taken to the hospital with Hyunjin never leaving her side. Felix had been sent to court, the final verdict being ten years imprisoned for murder, attempted murder, kidnapping and torture. The proof had been taken to court as well, while we had spent hours at the station for our statements and explanations about what had happened. Meanwhile Seungmin was released from prison, yet had to stay at home on house arrest for two years due to attempted murder.
"Angelina?" I softly spoke as I opened the door of her hospital room. Me and Minho hesitantly walked in, seeing Hyunjin and Angelina quickly scoot away from each other. Minho and I looked at each other, both raising an eyebrow. "Are we interrupting something here?" I asked teasingly, seeing both Angelina and Hyunjin growing bright red.
"What about you guys then, holding hands and all?" Angelina asked to try to divert the attention. "Come on, everyone already knew about that, now I'd like to hear more about you two" Minho answered, only tightening the grip on my hand, making me smile even brighter. It had taken a while after what went down, but after talking everything out about what happened, it was pretty obvious we were both deeply in love with each other, no matter how much Minho had to pretend to hate me for everyone's sake.
With that being said, we didn't actually have to pretend anymore for the reporters every time we went outside. Of course, the amount had only become bigger as everyone learned about Felix's situation. For at least a week, not a day went by where we weren't bombarded with questions. After about a month all the attention eventually had diverted to other incidents, allowing us to finally live in peace.
"Fine" Hyunjin stated. Angelina's eyes instantly went to Hyunjin, motioning for him to stop with whatever he was planning, but he simply continued. "I mean, I don't see why we would have to hide it anyways Angel. It seems like they already know, right?" Both mine and Minho's faces lit up instantly, while Angelina's face only grew redder and redder. "We'll let you two have some space then you lovebirds" I teased, taking Minho's hand and pulling him out of the room again.
"Are you sure you don't want to stay a bit longer? Especially since we'll be gone soon for quite some time" Minho asked somewhat concerned. I shook my head, a soft smile still plastered on my face. "Don't worry, I've been waiting for this to happen ever since I knew Hyunjin was in love with her. I'll tease her more when she's released from the hospital next week."
Minho clicked his tongue. "I'm not sure if we'll still be here than baby" he said thinkingly. "Wait, why not? Are you going somewhere for work?" It had taken a while, but Minho had finally taken over the company, seeming more busy than ever. Minho simply shook his head, taking my hand and guiding me outside to his car. "Let's take a bite first, we'll talk about it over dinner."
"Wait, isn't this" "The restaurant we went to on our first day? Yeah" Minho finished as we slowly went inside. Despite it being the busiest hour of the day for restaurants, the entire place seemed empty. "Is it just me or is it really quiet in here?" I asked slightly confused. Minho simply chuckled, pulling a chair back for me to sit on. "I rented the whole place out for tonight."
My eyed widened as I sat down. "Why on earth would you do that?" I asked perplexed. Minho simply kept the smirk on his smile, slowly falling on one knee. "No, no way" I said in disbelief. "Yes way" he chuckled, slowly bringing out a tiny box. "Y/N, we've technically speaking promised each other to get married years ago, and we've even already actually been engaged for about a year now, so let's actually make it official now shall we?" My mouth fell open as Minho took my hand, looking up at me with the biggest smile ever.
"Y/N, will you marry me?"
