The weeks were passing quickly. I was happy. I had my mate and I had my pack. Damien had made me Luna in a private ceremony between him, his parents and I. While being fully mated was usually a requirement, I wasn't. We didn't care. I wasn't a rogue anymore. It felt good. I didn't have to continuously run some people who were trying to hurt me. Well, only one. Thomas. I haven't seen or heard from him in nearly a month. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't concerned. I don't know if he's planning something.

Any worry floated away as I watched my beautiful mate get dressed. Call me a pervert. I dare you. He was going away for the night. I'm not entirely sure for what but Ryan is going with him since he's the Beta. I assume it's important Alpha business.

"Are you done staring?" I didn't even realise that I had zoned out. Damien was bending down so he was eye-level with me as I sat on his bed.

"I'm sorry you're just delicious." I replied as I dramatically wiped pretend drool from my lip. He laughed.

"I know. I'm positively delectable." He kissed my nose before starting to pack his bag.

"Are you going to be ok here by yourself?" He asked me and I nodded.

"I've asked Dylan to keep you company for the night. That way you're not bored and lonely." He said. I've never really spoken to Dylan. He seems nice enough though. It was mid-afternoon now and he would have to leave soon.

"Do you have to go?" I asked.

"I do. The King has summoned the Alphas for an important meeting. I can't say no." He told me.

"I mean, you could? I didn't do what the king wanted and I'm still here." I pointed out. He turned to me and furrowed eyebrows.

"When didn't you do what he wanted?" He asked.

"At the Alpha meeting. I didn't bow. He said that it made him curious." I said.

"Hm. Didn't know that. But this isn't a simple bow. This is an important meeting. If I said no there would be consequences." I pouted. He chuckled and kissed my lips. I eagerly kissed him back. God, he's made me go soft.

"I promise I'll be back tomorrow. Just 24 measly little hours and I'll be all yours again." He promised. He was right. It wouldn't be long but I still don't want him to go. He took hold of my hand and grabbed his bag. We walked downstairs towards the front door where Ryan and Dylan were waiting. I pulled Ryan into a hug which he quickly returned.

"If he doesn't come back in one piece I'm blaming you." I whispered. He laughed at me.

"He'll be fine." I could feel him rolling his eyes. I let go of him and turned to Damien. I grabbed his shirt and pulled him down into a passionate kiss. I could hear Ryan gagging like a child. I pulled back.

"You better stay safe. If you die I'll kill you." My voice was firm. He kissed my forehead.

"We'll be fine. You be good for Dylan." He gave me one last kiss before he and Ryan left the pack house. I looked out the window as they left the territory.

"So... what do you want to do?" Dylan asked and I looked at him. I shrugged.

"I don't know. What do you want to do?"

"Movie marathon?" He suggested. I thought about it.

"Yeah why not."

We sat on the couch and watched countless movies and just talked. We have quite a bit in common and we got along really well. I found out that he's been friends with Damien for about 2ish years. It was nearly 4am by the time we had finished the marathon. I wanted to mindlink with Damien to tell him goodnight but he felt too far away. We fell asleep on the couch.

I woke up to the sun shining on my face. I sat up with a scowl. Dylan was still passed out. I looked at the clock on the wall and saw that it was nearly midday. Damien should be home soon. I went to my room for a shower and got dressed. I went back to the lounge room to find Dylan finally awake.

"Did we sleep on the couch?" He asked me. Nodded with a smile. He stretched his neck with a grimace.

"Yeah my neck really feels like it." He groaned.

"Want to watch more movies until Damien and Ryan come home?" He asked. I've got nothing better to do. I sat down next to him and he put on another movie.

4pm rolled around and I was beginning to get worried. I feel like they should be home by now. Dylan kept trying to reassure me that they're ok, maybe they've just been held up by the King. I wasn't convinced. 6pm arrived and I was pacing the lounge room. I was anxious. The front door burst open and I turned around, hoping to see Damien and Ryan. My heart dropped when I saw one of the pack fighters, covered in blood. I ran up to him.

"What happened?" I demanded.

"Rogues. They appeared out of nowhere. They grabbed Alpha Damien and Beta Ryan. One of them said to give you this." He held out a blood soaked piece of paper. The blood rushed from my face as I read the familiar writing.

You want them? Come and get them. Alone. - Thomas
