Am I last to you (part 2)

I sat up when I heard Henry walk into the room.

"Can we talk?" he asked

"About what?"

"This," he said gesturing between the two of us.

"What is there to talk about?"

"A lot."

I sighed and wiped my eyes and slightly nodded my head.

He walked in and shut the door before making his way over to me and kneels before me and grabs my hands and brushes his thumbs over them.

"I want to say I am sorry" he starts

"Alright."

"I am sorry for being an asshole, for being an inconsiderate prick. I deserve to lose you for the stunt I pulled for the past weeks. I don't deserve your forgiveness what so ever but I will ask you for it as selfish as it may seem. I want you to forgive me for being an asshole to you, for never spending time with you, for making you feel as if you're last to me. For putting pc games over you and our relationship."

I sat there and listened to him not saying a word.

"I am sorry for ignoring you, for blowing you off, for not paying any attention to you. I know you're not selfish nor stingy for my attention. I know that you would love to spend the time we have during this pandemic to be with me like we were at the start. I know that had it been on the other foot I would be just like you if not more of an asshole with you for what you were doing. But you're not like that."

He teared up and I looked at him.

"I don't want to lose you over my ignorance. I want you to forgive me."

I sat there once he was finished and I contemplated over all that he said to me and my decision. 

" I felt like our marriage was nothing anymore. I felt like you didn't care for me anymore, that you games that you can play anytime were way more important to you than I ever was. I wasn't going to leave though I should have, I just wanted to see if you would pay attention or if you would ever leave your game room to notice me or what was going on. "

He cries as I talk to him.

"I was feeling like I did when I was single and could hardly get anyone to spend time with me. and I hated that feeling."

I started crying again.

" I love you with every bit of my heart. But I will never allow you to put me last to stupid pc games. I will never allow you to make me feel this again."

He nodded his head.

"I will forgive you but the very minute you put me last to something stupid like your pc games then I am done, I will not think of my self as useless. I will not allow what I felt all them weeks you blew me off and ignored me. I will leave before I ever feel that way again."

 He lets my hands go and wipes my eye as I do the same with him before he cups my face and kisses me.
