As November just ended two days ago I decided that this month is the perfect month to purchase a tree and decorate it.
After doing a vote of what type of tree to get, Esme, & henry all headed out and bought an artificial tree so we didnt have to worry about bugs, animals, or keeping it alive. and we could keep it longer.
We let Esme pick out which tree she wanted and she got a six-foot tree with lights built in it already.

"Alright Esme now for ornaments," Henry tells her
"Can it be Disney with two NFL teams along with batman and superman?" she asked
"Which teams? I asked
"Ravens for mommy and chiefs for daddy," she says
"of course it can," Henry tells her then kisses the top of her head as he pushes her in the buggy while Kal walks alongside them.
I grab some Disney ornaments and hold them up for her to pick. She selects, dopey, Lio & stitch. Then I grabbed some batman and superman ornaments and she pucked the two she liked before I put the rest away before grabbing the NFL team ones that she said and showed them allowing her to pick them.
We got a star tree topper that is silver and gold so when the lights from the tree hit it it will shine.
After that was taken care of we got more ornaments to add and went through check out.

After Henry and I put the tree together and straighten out the branches. Henry went and got the hooks while I opened the ornaments and Esme started to help hand them up once they were placed on a hook.
What areas she couldn't reach wither Henry or I would reach it for her.
After the tree had everyone thing on it or so we thought we were about to sit down.
"Wait we forgot the tree topper," Esem says
"Oh you're right," I say then grab it
"Who should be allowed to place this on top?"Henry asked
I stood there acting as if I was in thinking.
"Can I do it?" Esme asked
I looked at Henry
"I don't see why not," he says
She smiled and took it from me then headed over to Henry and he lifted her aiding her in placing the tree topper on.
Alright it's done, now the stockings" I say

Once all the lights were hung up the stockings, trees was decorated, and everything was done we went into the kitchen and made some hot cocoa before sitting on the couch and just looking at our now Christmas decorated living room.
"Can't wait to see my gifts this year" Esme says
"What do you think Santa will bring you," Henry asks
"Well I think I will get teddy bears, a big wheel, tea set, some clothes, shoes, and you to stay home" Esme replied
"Me to stay home? Henry asked
"Yea, I want to spend Christmas with you and mommy as well as Kal of course" she replied
"We wanna spend Christmas with you too. and hopefully, I will have Christmas eve and Christmas day off, "Henry tells her
"I hope so too daddy," she says as she snuggles up to him and drips her cocoa.
