"Ok, Zara daddy is about to arrive home so finish getting ready cause you get to tell him about your date tonight" I call out to Will's and my fifteen-year-old daughter as I finish cooking diner.
"Alright, momma. and please tell him not to go crazy" she pleads
"I will baby," I tell her

Will walks through the doors and I greet him with a kiss before he sits at the table.
"Alright, Zara is about to tell you something important for her. please hear her out and dont go crazy" I ask
"What is it about?" he asks
"She will tell you when she comes downstairs" I replied
I leave the food to cook as Zara walks down the stairs.
"You have a date dont you?" he asks
She looks at me and I hold my hands up.
"I didn't say a word" I replied
"How did you know?" she asks
"Well your dressed nice and your wearing make up which both are special events or occasion" he replied
"Yes daddy I do have a date, and I hope you won't lose it when I tell you who it is" she replied
"Well who is it?" he questions
"It's Ray, the one that use to cause us trouble all the time and you said you can't stand," she says
He shakes his head.
"That kid is a huge pain in my ass and side, everything he does is to get under my skin."
" Not this, he is doing this cause he likes me. it has nothing to do with being under your skin or to irritate you" Zara replies.
"That boy will have some ground rules that if he breaks one I will hunt him down and deal with him personally," Will says
"Of course he knows that," Zara says
"Good, then when are you expecting him?"
After Wil lasks that the doorbell rings and I excuse myself to go get it but Will beats me to it.
I look at Zara and she pouts a little before following her dad to the front door where he is giving Ray a piece of his mind and warnings as well as his rules.
"Alright let them go so they can enjoy themselves while we go and eat dinner," I say as I grab WIlls hand and move him back to me while Zara goes up to Ray and smiles then kisses his cheek in greeting.
"Better have her home no later than eight pm if she is late I will find you and you won't like what I do" Will warns
"Yes sir," Ray says as he and Zara walk out the door.

Ray did like he said he would b bring Zara home on time.
When Will asked her questions about Ray and if he tried anything she assured him that he was a nice gentleman and that there was nothing that happened she didnt wants to happen.
Will didn't like that and about went off but Zara clarified she meant he didnt try anything and they only kissed.
Will wasn't happy about her kissing Ray but it was better than what he thought she meant.
I was happy to see Will's and my baby girl had enjoyed her first date after the whole week of her being nervous and all.
