Daughters 1st date ( Clark)

" Daddy I know it could be risky for me to do this but I wanna experince human life much more. I mean you did leave home and travel when you were about my age so it would only be fair that you allow me to go on this date" Saphire says to her dad

"I was not about your age I was older, and what I did is no excuse for you to do this" Clark tells her.

I look between the two of them and smile. Both of them share stubbornness and being hard-headed.

"What has you smiling my lovely?" Clark asks when he looks over at me.

"You two share so much alikeness it's not even funny" I replied.

"Like what," Sapphire asks

"Stubbornness" I replied

"I am not stubborn" she replies

"You're as stubborn as your daddy" I replied

She thinks about before smiling.

"I am aren't I?" she questions

I nod my head.

"As for the issue at hand can one of you two fill mommy in?" I asked

"Well Sapphire here wants to go on a date, but I dont want her to" he replies.

"What if it's chaperoned?" Sapphire asks

"I better know and trust them," Clark says

"What if mommy does it?" she questions

They both look at me.

"What type of date before I agree to anything?" I ask.

"Well Vance said that if I am allowed to go than it would be a simple lunch at the diner then movies" she replied

I looked at Clark.

"Now your prospective?" I say to Clark

"People will find out that she isn't fully human and kidnap her" he replied

"Awe baby, I will take them on their date and make sure no one finds out ok" I assured him

"I trust you, so I will allow her to go, but he will be told rules," Clark says

"Fair enough" I replied 

Sapphire smiles and thanks to her daddy before grabbing my hand and leading me off to her room where I help her pick an outfit and then do her makeup before I put her hair up in a cute braid.

When Clark sees Sapphire he is in awe.

"Babygirl you look very beautiful" he compliments her

"Thank you daddy" she replies and hugs him while he kisses her cheek.

When Vance arrives Clark sticks true to his word and gives Vance rules of what to do and not to do.

Vance was told that I would chaperone them and if he didnt like it then sapphire wasn't going.

Vance said it was fine that his parents were hoping one of us would do it since they were busy.

I kiss Clark bye before following the kids out and taking them on their date.

I knew while we were out on this date that Clark would turn into superman and take care of issues that need his help before watching over us.

When we go to the movies I could see Clark in the top far right corner which was the darkest spot so no one could see him but he sees everyone.

After the movie, I looked back at Clark and smiled blowing him a kiss before I followed the kids out of the theater.

Sapphire sat next to Clark and told him all about her date and how great it was. While Clark smiles and acted as if he wasn't watching from afar.
