While cooking Thanksgiving dinner Dominic and I were watching the Thanksgiving football game.
Hime being a southern boy rooted for the Texans while I was going for the Lions.
"Wanna make a bet doll?" he asked
"What does my beautiful Captain have in mind?" I asked
"Well if my team wins we add an addition to our family," he says
"Ok, and if my team wins than you do anything I want for a whole month" I replied
HE reached his hand out and I shook it.
"Deal," we both said
"May the best of us win," Sy says
I pecked his cheek and rewashed my hands before checking on the turkey then headed off to check on Dominic's and my baby.

Half way through some of our guest started to come over which was some of Sy's friends from when we were still captain.
We greeted them and allowed them to help themselves before we headed back to work on the food some more.

We know that some of the guys that Dominic was overseas on tour with didn't have anyone at home so we invited them over to spend the holiday with us and just relax while watching football.
When the words, football, and beer was mentioned half of them agreed
Two, which Sy made sure they knew not to be stupid around our kids.
After they promised not to be stupid and that they would act like adults Sy told them they are more than welcome to come.

"Alright y'all come and get it" I called
"What talking southern already?" Mahmoud asked
"Well, I live with a southern man so I get used to it." I replied
Dominic and I placed all the food down, then I went and got the kids before coming to join the others.
Dominic took charge of carving the turkey while the others filled their plates with the rest of the yummy goodness.

"I know this isn't started yet, or even asked but I want to start what we are thankful for," one of the soldiers named Clay said
"Alright go for it," Sy tells him as we get the kids some food
"I am thankful to have friends like you all casue if I had nobody I probably would have reenlisted," he says
"Well I am thankful to Dominic and his lovely lady for allowing us to spend this holiday with them and their family, "Muhmoud says
"I too am thankful for them as well as you guys, like clay said had I not had you guys I'd have reenlisted," Another soldier named Martin says
"I am thankful for my wife, my kids, and friends," Dominic says
"I am thankful for my family and friends," I say
"We are thankful for our family and friends as well," the kids say
I kiss both of them on their heads and smile before we all start to dig in.

the guys offered to help put the food away while the kids watched the football game. So give them a task to do since no wasn't what they would hear.
"Thank you again for allowing us to spend this day with you and your family Captain Sy," Clay says
"Your welcome and I am not your captain anymore so no need for that" Dominic says

Once my team won I looked at Sy and smirked before I headed back into the kitchen and got some desserts.
"Alright a bet is a bet and I lost so I will do as you want for a month," Sy says
I nodded my head and pecked his cheek before setting the desserts out."
"Thank you" was all I heard as everyone came to get their fill of dessert.
