Henry (Halloween)

For Halloween, we decided we would be Dc characters. Henry is superman of course. Evan is Aquaman, Will is batman, Sarai is Wonderwoman, Kara is Catwoman, and I am poison ivy.

After we had all gotten ready to go out, trunk or treating and trick or treating I made sure that they all had glow bracelets so when it got darker people would be able to see them.

As we stood in line for the trunk or treating people took pictures with Henry since he was dressed like superman. While other kids and moms as well as dads complimented us on our outfits saying how cute we were going with a theme.

After saying thank you and people taking pictures we moved up through the line and Sarai stuck with Henry which people thought was the cutest thing seeing mini wonder woman with superman.

I stood behind while Henry was on the side as the kids made their way through the trunk or treat events thanking the people for the candy and telling them happy Halloween.

After we left the trunk or treating I put their candies in pillowcases so they could still use their Halloween bags when they went door to door. 

I broke the glow sticks and shook them up before placing them on the kid's wrists making sure they were light up.

We parked nearby got out headed through our neighborhood and the kids would walk up to the door and say trick or treat then thank the people for the candy before leaving.

When people saw Henry they were surprised and thought it was ironic how he played superman and chose superman as his Halloween costume.

After we went to a few neighborhoods we headed home.

"That was fun thank you mommy and daddy for taking us," Kar says as she sits on the floor and pours her candy out before sorting through it.

"Yes thank you," the other says doing the same as Kara while Kal just laying there sleeping.

" You all are very welcome thank you for using your manners," Henry and I both say as we join the kids and help them sort through their candy tossing the ones that looked tempered with.

After we were finished Henry and I told them that they were only allowed three pieces of candy and that the rest would go into the fridge.

Once their three pieces were picked Henry and I gathered up their candy and placed them in bowls before putting them away.

"DOn't mix them please," Will says

"We didn't they are in different bowls, yous is in the bowl with the blue lid, karas with the red, Evan with the green, and Sarai with the orange," I tell him 

"Thank you," he says 

"welcome. now let's go get cleaned up and come watch some Disney Halloween movies" Henry suggests

Sitting on the couch I had Kara on one side and Evan on the other while one the other couch was Henry in the middle Sarai on one side and Will on the other as we watched Disney Halloween movies.
