I wasn't ready for this day to come yet I was glad it was here so that Esme could make friend with kids her age and she could expand her knowledge.
Henry on the other hand hated that this time was here. We were in bed that night before and he was heartbroken that his babygirl was all grown up and in school.
I comforted him and told him that she was still his baby girl no matter how old she gets or where ever she goes.
He reluctantly agreed with me before he went to sleep.

I had just finished Putting a cute little Hello Kitty outfit on Esme when Henry walked in as I grabbed some on the hair supplies I would need.
"Hello Kitty?" he asks
"Yea it's mommy's and my favorite cat, sicne we can't stand house cats" Esme said
"Daddy hates them too" Henry tells her
She nods her head then stays still as I start doing her hair while Henry talks to her about being ready for school.
"I know you are upset daddy, but I big girl and I would like to meet new people and play with them and become much smarter so I will be able to be like you" she tells him.
I look up at him and he is just staring at Esme in adoration and love.
I smiled and clip the Hello Kitty bow in her hair.
"Alright Esem all done" I tell her
She walks over to Henry and he kneels.
"How do I look daddy?"
She gives him a little twirl showign off the little tutu skirt.
"Beautiful like always baby" he tells her
She smiles and wraps her arms around his neck and kises his cheek a kiss.
I could tell he was battlign the tears back as he hugs her and kisses her on the cheek as well.
"Are you ready?" I asked
"Ya I am" Esme says
"As I ever will be" Henry replied as he stood up and took Esme's hand and they headed out of her bedroom door while I put the hair stuff down and followed them.
I had fed Esme breaskfast before getting her ready so if she spilled anything it wouldnt be on her school outfit.

When we got to the school Henry and I parked in a parking spot and we climbed out Henry helped Esme out while I grabbed her HelloKitty backpack. I walked with them to the front of the school.
"Want us to walk you to class or stay here?" Henry asked
"You can walk me to class, I want people to see that my daddy is Superman" Esme says
"Even if I didn't have that role I would always be your superman" Herny tells her
"I know cause you love me" Esme says
This time its me havign to fight back the tears as I watch my love talk with each other.
I follow close by as we head to Esme's classroom where the teacher was standing outside the door greeting the parents and kids.
"Hello, I am Ms.Kim, you must be Esme" the teacher greeted as she got down to Esme's height
"Yea I am, and this is my mommy and daddy, who is superman," Esme says all excited when introducing Henry as superman.
Ms.Kim stands up and we greet her.
"Well he is superman isn't he?" she asks Esme
"Yea and he is the best," Esme says.
I hear a slight soft sob and I look to Henry seeing him choke up a little so I rub his back as I kneel to Esme height.
"Well little lady, I hope that you have a grand first day, and make lots of friends. Mommy and daddy will miss you as well Kal. But we will see you when it's time to come and pick you up" I tell her as I slip her backpack on her shoulder hug her and kiss her cheek.
She smiles and hugs and kisses me back
"I will miss you all and Kal as well," she says.
I stand up and Henry squats down and talks to Esme then gives her a hug and kiss before standing back up.
We watch as she walks into the classroom but stops and turns to wave at us smiling then disappears into the classroom.
We bid Ms.Kim a good day then leave.
It isn't till we get home that Henry cries and I comfort him.
"I never knew how proud of me she was till she till today. I thought she was always upset with me for leaving for so long" he explained as I hold him in my arms.
"I told her that Daddy was out being a superhero and that one day when the time comes she will be able to see you on the tv" I explained.
He nods his head and holds me as I hold him.
"She is so proud of you that I bet all the students in her classroom know that superman is Esme's daddy."
He chuckles a little before lifting his head and looking at me.
"Thank you for everything and so much more," he says
"No problem at all," I tell him.
