Hurt by accident

I was awakened from the sounds of roach's hooves hitting the dirt outside.

I sat up and climbed out of bed before I walked out and looked at Geralt as he walked in.

"Hey, Ger" I greet and he stills for a moment before walking passed me and removes his swords before he falls on the bed.

I followed him and shut the bedroom door before I laid my head on his shoulder not caring his armor was still on.

"Wanna talk about it?"

He says nothing and does nothing for a while.

"I was fighting another kikimora and I was distracted with it that I didn't see the young  kid  approaching. After I killed the creature I looked and seen that the creature had killed the child."

I teared up as I sat there hearing him.

He turned away from me and I felt a sting across my face.

I said nothing as I looked at him.

I sighed got up and walk out of the room. Grabbed my mirro and seen that I had a cut on my jaw and it was bleeding.

I walked over to where I keep rags and my sewing items and headed over to the sink filled a bowl up with warm water before grabbing some type of cloth for bandage before headign back over to the table and placed it all down before I picked my mirror up and used the rag to wipe the blood away and clean the cut before I grabbed some thread and needle and sewed my cheek.

I bit my lip to keep from making a sound to disturb Geralt.

After I finished I used a sharp object to cut the thread and then covered my cheek and used asimple paste type of thing to keep the banage in palce.

When I made sure everything was was cleaned up and that the badaged looked good I put all my things away and emptied the bowl before I lit a lantern and headed outside and checked on roach before I made sure that there was enough hay for her to eat.

"What are you doing outside?"

I freeze in place.

"Checking on Roach and making sure she has enough hay to eat," I reply but don't turn around.

"Come back inside then."

I nodded my head and blow out the latern so hopfully he won't see my jaw and ask questions.

I walked passed him and head inside putting the latern up and then went to clean my hands.

"What happened?"

I sighed and drop my head.

I heard him walking up behind me before feeling him turn me around and lift my head up and to the side.

"I don't want to ask again."

"I gt cut, but it's ok I am fine, I took care of it" I assured him.

He went to take the bandage off but I grabbed his hand.

"Don't. I told you I am fine and I took care of it."

He ignored me and used his other hand and tore the banage off which made me flinch and hiss in pain.

"Sorry."

I looked at him as he looked at my stiched up cut.

"Who did this?"

"I won't tell you. your not in the right mood right now."

He looks at me and drops the bandage.

"Did I do it ?"

"Not you yourself."

"So something on me hurt you?"

I sighed knowing that he would not let it go unless I told him.

"A metal piece of your armor cut my jaw when you turned from me."

He looks at my cut more till I turn my head and look at him.

"I am sorry that I hurt you, I should have taken my armor off, I didn't know that a piece of it was gonna cut you."

"I told you I took care of it."

He sighs and walked off while I toss the bandage and follow him.

We say nothing to each other as we get in bed. this time he made sure his armor was removed and away from me.

I just laid there and said nothing.
