Fwb (Clark)

Clark and I had grown up together. His mom and dad thought for sure that we would wind up together.

As Clark and I became young adults we agreed to be friends with benefits. We had talked about it for a long while and decided since we were mature enough and considered legal age to do things we decided to go through with it.

Our agreement was that we would come to the other no matter where we were or what was going on and we would rely on each other for pleasure as well as friendship.

But things had started changing when Clark found out about his true identity. He started treating me like I was a nobody always blowing me off and acting like I am not talking to him or trying to talk with him or to him.

He moved to Metropolis where he met Lois lane a nosy journalist who doesn't know when to stay out of people's lives and mind her own business. 

I tried to call him to get him to talk to me and see what it was that had happened but he refused to answer my calls. So I went to where he lives and knocked only for nosy lane to answer the door with no clothes on.

covered my eyes not wanting to see her naked.

"Is Clark here?" I asked

"No he is not may I ask who you are?" she replied

"A..."

I was cut off when I heard

Hey, baby.

I looked to see who it was and seen Clark.

"Well look who is alive and refusing my calls," I say

He looks at me and looks as if he is shocked that I was there.

"Why are you here, you have no reason to be at my place," he says

"Wow, that's the kind of gratitude that a superhero has around a childhood friend. How wonderful you are Clark or is it Superman?" I say

"Shut up. you don't know what you're talking about" he clarifies.

"Who is she Clark and how does she know who you are?" Lois asks

"I am none of your business" I replied looking from Clark to her then back.

"As for not knowing what I am talking about funny how I was there when you found out when you seen your dad. your birth dad, hell I was there when you were about to save Mr. Kent but he stopped you in order for you to keep your true self hidden. But you want to act as if I am nobody after everything we have been through. Then fine, I will be a nobody and so will our child" I tell him then walk off when he grabs my arm I jerk it back.

"I am not about to let you talk like that to me and then allow you to touch me. You want to act like I am nothing to you. and act like I am nobody then go ahead. I dont need and neither does my child" I tell him then leave.

Martha and I had kept in contact. She helped me through my pregnancy and you did as I had asked of her. She never told Clark anything about my pregnancy and how his baby is doing.

When I came home that day she came over and asked me about what happened and I told her everything to which she apologized when it wasn't her job to apologize for Clark's behavior.

She asked that I not prevent her from seeing her grandchild and I told her that she would be the only one out of the two that would see my baby.
