We are all playing this game called life.

Lemon's POV

Time's continue ticking and we're currently here inside the library's secret room. Hindi ko na alam kung anong oras na dahil wala naman akong relos gano'n din naman si Jana na kasalukuyan ay nagbubungkal ng kung ano sa mga nakatambak na box sa loob ng kwartong ito. Ang maliit na kwartong 'to ay walang kahit isang bintana. May bookshelf din sa isang gilid. In the center, a chair and a medium-size study table are located where a lot of random things are placed on top of it. To summarize it all, it really looks like an ordinary office room not until we found this 'hidden' purposely and because it's kinda messy. We also saw a strange piece of torn white cloth that is hanged in a nail. Pamunas lang daw 'yon sabi ni Jana. Pinasadahan ko naman ng kamay ang mga librong nakalagay sa shelf. I don't mind living in a room full of books but if the place is this weird? No thanks, I will just find another on my own. After I satisfied myself touching those books which are, by the way, ALL mythology-- my fave! I stop at the end of the shelf where I see a different one. There's some strange feeling I couldn't tell while looking at it, nevertheless, I shrugged it off and walked towards the study table.

"Did you find any information there, siz?" Tanong ko kay Jana na nagpailing sa kanya. Well, you heard it right. We're also finding something in here that could answer our questions. We wanted to know the reason, 'why are we here?'  because obviously, this is all "well planned". I just sighed and browsed the pieces of paper on the table. Napansin ko din ang isang board sa pader sa likod ng table dahil sa picture na nakadikit do'n. My brows furrowed recognizing it is Laine and Peach! But what confused me big time is why it is here-- and also what is that polaroid picture which is plain black? My brows went in a line as I confusingly think about what's the meaning of these things! Magkatabi lang ang nakangiting picture nila Laine at Peach pati ng plain black polaroid, hmm. Napayuko ako sa mga papeles at gamit sa desk. There's a glass full of ballpens, pencils, and even a misplaced red lipstick. I opened the drawer of the study table and saw a birthday candle.

"Seventh" I whispered when I read it.

"Ano yan bakla? Bakit may birthday candle na nakalagay d'yan?" galing sa malalim na pag-iisip ay napatingin ako kay Jana nang magtanong siya. Nakaupo na siya sa sahig at nagkalat na din ang mga gamit na inilabas niya galing sa karton. Nagkibit balikat naman ako sa kan'ya.

"By the way high way! I saw something in here, Lemon," ani nito kaya naman ay tumayo na ako at lumapit sa kaniya. Nagkalat sa sahig ang iba't-ibang libro. Napatingin naman ako sa hawak ngayon ni Jana, isang chess piece. Nagkatinginan kami at parehas din na napaisip.

"Baka coincidence lang ghorl?! Natanga lang siguro yung naglagay nito dito!" Natawa naman ako sa sinabi niya at napailing. Tatayo na sana ako ng makita ko ang isang blade sa ilalim ng box sa harap ni Jana pinulot ko ito na umagaw din sa pansin niya. Wait-- I stopped from my track as ideas and theories continued to dwell in my mind. It's like an equation formed in my head! I looked around the whole room. From the chess piece which is in Jana's hands to the study table, the red lipstick to the whiteboard with a black polaroid to the picture of my two friends. Everything in here seems connected! I instinctively stand and quickly grab that different book from the shelf that I have just seen earlier.
