Right when we heard the name "Lunala," literally almost all of the Pokemon in the café BOOKED it out of there. There was no way in the Distortion World that we were going to miss meeting one of the LEGENDARY POKEMON. For that matter, one of the more popular ones.
"Are you coming, Miss Joy?" Star had asked the Audino, while the rest of us were cramming for the doors.
"Nah, I'll stay here and watch the café," Miss Joy had answered. "But, you make sure to say hi to the dear for me!"
So, pretty much a whole horde of Pokemon were heading for Moonlight. I pushed myself to pull ahead of all the other Pokemon. I HAD to be the first one there.

In a few minutes, we had made it to Moonlight. We all couldn't get there fast enough. But, right smack in the middle of the village, was Lunala. You could feel her magnificent power radiating from a mile away. I was a little sad to see that there was already a crowd. Then again, I should've expected it. From what I saw though, it looked like Lunala was speaking with someone.
"Oh my Arceus. Midnight, she's really here. At our home," Star whispered, her eyes dazzling more than ever.
"I know. It's so cool..," I replied, feeling as astounded as she was.
"Come on! Let's see if we can get a little closer," Flora said, already moving.
"W-wait up, Flora..!" Angel whispered, frantically following her.
All four of us managed to slip someway through the huge crowd to get a better look at Lunala and who she was talking to. Being a little closer, I noticed that Lunala was also accompanied by another Pokemon. They were cresent shaped, like a moon. A Lunatone I deducted, a Rock and Psychic type.
But, the Pokemon that Lunala was speaking to, I couldn't lay my paw on. The Pokemon looked sort of owl-like, with a color scheme of green, tan, white, and hints of orange. Their wings looked like they had sort of arrow-like quills on the ends of them.
"Oh, that's Quill!" Star exclaimed, ears twitching.
"Who?" I asked, confused.
"Quill the Decidueye!" Star answered. "He's the chief of the village. He pretty much keeps everything in check. He also knows lots of different kinds of Pokemon, because he's traveled around the world!"
"Huh. He sounds pretty experienced," I said, nodding my head. "What are his types?"
"Umm.., Grass, and... Ghost? Yeah, that's right!" Star said, looking proud of herself.
"Hm, Ghost type, huh?" I wondered. He didn't exactly look the part, but the hood of feathers on his head did give him a pretty dark look.
I got a little closer, and then my ears actually started to catch the conversation the two Pokemon were having.
"...the damage is pretty serious. A few other superiors and I are going to inspect the area around the scene and see if any Pokemon might've witnessed the cause," Lunala had said. She had such a soft and serene voice that I couldn't help but feel a little weak in the knees when I heard her.
"If it was caused by Pokemon directly, others in the area should have noticed," Quill replied. "They might even know who did it."
"That's exactly what we're going to find out," Lunala declared. "I just wanted to inform you because I know big of a help you were in the production."
"Well, not that big of a help..," Quill replied, chuckling. "Anyways, me and a few other colleagues of mine will head there first thing tomorrow morning to lend any help needed. I still have some work to finish here at the moment..."
"It'd be nice if you came! The more, the merrier," Lunala said, with a smile. Arceus, she also has a really nice smile. "Well, I should be heading back now, but it was really nice seeing you," she said. Then, she motioned to all the rest of us. "You all as well!"
"WE LOVE YOU, LUNALA!" lots of Pokemon squealed.
"Take me with you!" others called. For goodness sake. Lunala just smiled, signaled the Lunatone, and began to fly off.
"M-miss Lunala, wait!" a tiny voice called.
I turned and saw a little, green caterpillar like Pokemon skitter out from the crowd. It was a Caterpie. She seemed to be holding some sort of velvet flower.
"This is for you!" she said, holding the flower up to Lunala. She floated down and gently took the flower from the Caterpie.
"Thank you, little one," she praised, smiling sweetly. "I'll cherish it always." She made good on this promise by pinning the flower on top of her head.
She patted the Caterpie gently on the head, then flew off into the sky, her wings dazzling like a starlit night in the sky.
"My friend Miss Joy says hi!" Star called out to her. I couldn't help but chuckle.
