Dad: Who is this?
Me: I brought a guest with me this time. Dad, this is my boyfriend Namjoon.
Namjoon: Um...
Me: Say hi.
Namjoon: Hi...Mr. Kang.
As I swapped the flowers, Namjoon laid out the blanket for us to sit. I told him in the car to imagine my dad being there like I do. It's clear he hasn't had to do something like this before, so he seems awkward.
Dad: Did you bring an air head home to me, Nari?
Me: Namjoon is very smart, very sweet, and very supportive.
Namjoon: Aw. Thank you.
Dad: What does he do?
Me: Tell him what you do.
Namjoon: Huh?
Me: Like...for a living.
Namjoon: Oh. I own a bookstore in CaryTown.
Dad: Hm. You must be perfect for my daughter then.
Me: He is, in every way, perfect for me.
Dad: Where did you two meet?
Me: ...Where did we meet, Namjoon?
Namjoon: ...
Me: ...uh
Namjoon: On...
Me: Online.
Namjoon: Online.
Me: We met online...
Dad: Nari, can I have a minute with him?
Me: I'll leave you two to get acquainted.
Namjoon: Wait, what?
Me: Mhm.
I kissed Namjoon, then the grave stone, then went to go wait by the car. Namjoon actually followed through. He sat there and talked to him as if he were there. After a while, Namjoon stood, tapped the grave as a replacement for a handshake, and returned to me.
Me: You're not judging me are you?
Namjoon: No. Why would I be?
Me: Because I was talking to stone and then made you talk to a stone.
Namjoon: I'm so confused. We were talking to stone? I thought that was your dad.
Me: *laughing* Haha. So funny.
Namjoon: Shall we?
Me: Yup.
Jungkook's studio is on the upper side of town. The boujee, Sooji type side of town. I came in the attire he needed, red top and ripped jeans. Like the dutiful boyfriend he is, Namjoon dropped me off at the building.
In the room, there were lights set up, a bunch of tripods, a back table with different types of lenses, and in the actual frame was a simple white couch. Jungkook walked out of the back room with his long hair in kind of a mess and dressed from head to toe in black.
Jungkook: Nari! Hi! You're early.
Me: I thought you wanted me here at eleven.
Jungkook: I said that as a courtesy. Most people show up half an hour late.
Me: Oh. If I had known that I would've put my face on this morning.
Jungkook: Oh. No need. You look fine. Great, actually. You have great skin, what face wash do you use?
