"Do not be afraid. Our fate cannot be taken from us. It is a gift."
"Because one believes in one self, one doesn't need to convince others"

I sit in the class looking at Adelaide's empty chair with hatred. I have always hated Adelaide from when we were in grade 1 even till now grade 12(Senior Secondary school 3).Even if Adelaide misses a month in school, she is still a topper. A teacher who hasn't made enough research would end up embarrassing himself because Adelaide is so brilliant.
I hate her because she owns the spotlight which should be mine. I'm the next best student after her but I can't take that. A Xander blood line is supposed to be the best and not the second best.
I very well know that Adelaide isn't sick. Mr Leviticus was such a fool to believe that. Well I'm kind of glad that she left because seeing her boils my blood and makes me less focused in class.
I would have to agree with the person who said anger consumes it's owner. It's evident in my life. I would need to deal with her very soon so that I would be able to experience tranquility.
I'm 18 years old and I am from Oxford,America. My dad is very wealthy while my mum stays at home to spend his money. She is a housewife.
I don't know if she decided to stay at home by choice or by force. If it's by choice, I believe that it's totally stupid and if it is by force, my dad must really have confidence in himself that he can handle the family without her existence. Well Xanders are always equal to any task.
I have some friends but amongst them are my best friends are David and Luke.
I love them very much because they are the only niggas that understand me and always gat my back.So what causes fear? Mr Leviticus our psychology teacher ask.
"Lack of self confidence." a guy as slim as a broom answer as I eyed him curtly. He answered the question because fear defined his existence on Earth.
That's good Mr Leviticus commends him while I turn around and told him "Jeroboam you answered the question well because it relates to you" sarcasm dripping from my words.
"My name is not Jeroboam. It's Jehoshaphat" he replied fear laced in his voice.
"I can choose to call you whatever name I want Jonathan." I replied to make him angry. Him being a coward keeps quiet and faces Mr Leviticus and that inflates my ego.
"I mean out of all the modern names his mum had to call him Jehoshaphat."How pathetic I thought.
"Who else can answer that question?" Mr Leviticus ask, cleaning his face with his handkerchief as he smiles showing off his teeth which are as white as the teeth of an heroine smoker(notice my sarcasm).
Some other people answered while I sit still thinking of how to deal with Adelaide who wasn't even present in the class because of her so called migraine.
"And you?" I heard a voice said and I think he was talking to someone else in the class.
"Stephano, he is talking to you" a short girl with long eye lashes and orange lip nudged putting her hand on my shirt in a seductive manner. I don't blame her because I'm really handsome and attractive that most girls always want me.
I have slept with a large number of girls in this school. If there was an award for womanizing, I think I own it.
The girl looked like a failed lab attempt."Your hand is so beautiful" I said smiling while looking at her squarely in the eye.
"Thanks" she replied sheepishly.
"And I would love to break it if you don't remove it from my shirt now" I warn her with my signature smirk.
