Imagine a maribat story but with a riddlebat twist in which Edward Nygma give up his criminal way, become a private detective and marry Bruce Wayne(and know he is Batman).
Now imagine Marinette going in Gotham with her class for a field trip, Lila lie about the Wayne, Marinette is bullied by her classmates, is left behind by them when they were supposed to go to Wayne Enterprise for a tour, she meet Damian and sympathize with him and later with the rest of the Wayne family, bring down Lila with their help and become Damian's girlfriend just like in many Maribat stories.
BUT but, instead of meeting one of the Wayne boys when she's left behind by her class, Marinette meet Edward Nygma, now Wayne, after he saved her from muggers, when hearing why someone young as her is alone in the streets of the most dangerous city in the world he get Marinette to WE and when ha saw how Marinette is treated by her class and teacher and how the Lila girl was lying about HIS family he got fed up, report the whole thing, including the mugging accident, to Bruce and they both report Caline Bustier to commissioner Gordon and an investigation against the teacher is lunched. Edward use his detective connections to investigate Lila Rossi and the class with he had found Bruce and him opened a procecussion against Lila and Alya for slander and
defamation.
With the investigation against Bustier and with her parents's consent, Marinette spend the rest of the trip at Wayne Manor, the Waynes eventually learn about the akuma situation in Paris and about Marinette being Ladybug, they help her to fight the akumas and thank to Edward's detective skill they found out Hawkmoth's identity and bring him down.
At the end when Marinette and Damian become officialy a couple, the other Wayne boys saw THE look in Bruce's eyes and it would go like:
"-No Bruce you can't adopt her!"
"-I agree with you boys he will not adopt her! We will both adopt her!"
"-Eddie! Not you too!"
"-What? I like her she is a nice, intelligent young lady and honestly it would doing her a favor! She wouldn't be surronded by a bunch of narrow minded idiotic apes who's obviously sharing only one brain cell and having her potential wasted!"
