"Excuse me?" Virgil called out as he walked up to this one staff lady. "Do you know where Roman San-... Sorry. Roman Prince is?"

"Mr. Prince? Yes. I believe he and his guest went to the stables." Virgil nodded as he thanked the lady, running off with Colt closely on his heels. As they made it to the stables Virgil had to stop short the moment his eyes caught sight of his prince. A prince he definitely was... He was on this light grey horse with white hair and dark grey spots in this pen-like thing. He was racing the horse about with an obvious look of joy as Virgil's mother, Leena, leaned against the fence with this look of intrigue.

"Is that Papa?" Colt asked with a giggle running up to the fence as Roman raced passed. Virgil couldn't help but melt at the sight.

"Yeah, Bud." Leena jumped the second she heard the voice turning over to see Virgil completely lost in a daze. "That's Papa. I've seen him on a horse before."

"Apparently since he's been here, he's been trying out a lot of different this. This was one of them." Virgil smiled over at his mother who gave a small nod back. "Hello, baby."

"Hey, Momma. I'm sorry I haven't been able to talk."

"It's ok, Baby. I understand. I must say though, when Roman mention he had seen you and that you had a son I was a bit surprised." Virgil sighed slightly as he nodded. Leena smiled down at Colt who looked up at her with an anxious frown. "Is this him?"

"Colton Graham." Her face paled as Virgil once again nodded in understanding. "Yes, I am changing that as SOON I can."

"Good. It's bad enough that you have his last name." Virgil smiled as he pulled him mother into a hug.

"Thank you, Momma."

"It's no problem at all, Baby. I'm just sorry I wasn't there for you when you needed it before." Virgil chuckled as he shrugged.

"It's ok. After awhile I had Thomas and then I had Roman and the others. I was ok. And I'm going to be..."

"VIRGIL!" Virgil jumped back as Roman literally came to a sliding stop in front of them this bright beaming smile on his face. "I see you arrive."

"Yep, Hey, Princey." Roman chuckled a bit as he glanced between them all. "So a horse?"

"Oh, uh... yea. My friend Tayln they got me into it." Roman lit up as he pet the hourse softly with a smile. "This is Angel. She's not one that many can ride. They were actually pretty surprised when she seemed to take such a liking to me right off the bat."

"Well, you are a prince." Roman rolled his eyes as he stuck his tongue out. Roman's eyes darted to Colt before back to Virgil who frowned seeing the look in his loves eyes. "Roman, what are you planning?"

"Colt, have you ever wanted to ride a horse?" If the way the kid squeeled was enough indication Virgil literally had no chose then to let him.

"Please, Daddy? Please? Can I? Can I please?" Virgil sighed as he nodded before gently helping Colt up to Roman wincing slightly at the action, having both Roman and Leena notice with equal looks of concern.

"Be careful with him, Princey. That's my son after all." Roman laughed as he clicked the reigns and Virgil watched as the horse slowly started to trot off. "God, I love him."

"He loves you." Virgil rolled his eyes but as his mother frowned he stopped short. "What did Marcos do?"

"He didn't want me seeing you today." Her eyes flashed with anger as Virgil leaned against the fence with a grunt, his eyes strewn with pain. "Worst still, Colt saw. Well... He saw the start of it and he saw the outcome. I had to wash up in the bathroom of the ice cream parlor just so I could come here looking normal."

"Oh, my poor Baby."

"I'm ok, Momma. I promise." Virgil tried a smile but it was clear his mother wasn't believing it. "I am. Remus has been helping. Logan's even offered to take my case and submit a restraining order. The two of them even offered me back my old room and more for Colt and I."

"If it were up to me..."

"I know, Momma. Trust me, it's hard enough keeping myself from trying to kill him, let alone Remus. I just want to make sure everything is going to work out, you know?" Leena pulled her son in gently letting rest him rest his head on her shoulder. "I just want this nightmare to be over. 3 years Momma... I've been stuck with him now for three years. It's not even like before. Before he just randomly dropped off the face of the earth and now... Now it's like I'm his property. I hate it."

"Well, you know you have a very strapping young man who literally thinks the absolute world of you." Virgil couldn't help but smile as his eyes watched Roman and Colt on the horse. "He adores you."

"I know, Momma. I want nothing more than to be with him." She hugged him close as Virgil shrugged. "He doesn't know it's Marcos."

"I figured as much. He's told me everything that happened and how much he hates the man. I'd imagine it an impossibility he would ever just let you stay married to the very man he's called an abusive hell spawn reject." Virgil burst out laughed as he pulled away only to freeze up seeing a hand streached out for him. Virgils eyes darted up to Roman's lush green one as Leena helped Colt get down.

"Wait, Princey, I..."

"It's ok, My love." Roman smiled fondly as Virgil hesitantly put his hand in his. "Do you trust me?"

"With my life... as I always have." Roman's eyes flashed as he carefully helped Virgil over the fence and onto the horse with Leena's help, seeing the discomfort. Roman wrapped his hands around his love leaning his chin into Virgil's shoulder as he hugged him tight but not to much, knowing that he was hurt.

"I've got you, Love." Virgil leaned back into him with a happy sigh. "We'll only go around once ok? I don't want you to hurt."

"I'm ok Princey. Just being with you helps."
