Celina's POV

I've been suffering insomnia lately.
Sleep has eluded me. I took some medication but it only gets worse. I hardly get 3 hours sleep at night and I wake up every morning feeling tired and exhausted

Maybe I need a break

Charles My fiancé is friend's with the head of unit where I work. He had asked me to take two weeks off to enable me clear my mind and rest.

" there are a lot of interns here to cover for you" Dr mave said.

I didn't get the chance to say anything

"See you in two weeks" he dismissed me.

I was at home thinking of where I wanted to travel to.

A part of me didn't want to go alone and considering I barely had friends out of the hospital I only had one person left

I Picked my phone and dialed her number. Hoping deeply she won't turn me down.

" hello" came her sexy voice

' how are u today' I answered

"I miss you a little " she said I could imagine her smiling right now.

'Come with me on a short trip if you do'
I offered.

'We leave tomorrow and come back in a week. Just the two of us" I added

She was quiet. I could tell she was thinking.

"I'll get back to you in an hour" she said finally.

I heaved. " I'll stay positive "

'Don't get your hopes high' she joked.

Noelle's POV

I pinched myself to make sure I wasn't dreaming.
7 Days alone with Lina?

Okay I think I'm gonna pass out. I said to myself.

I had one problem though

Mom.

It was going to be difficult getting her to let me out of the house for more than a night.

I sighed as I scratched my head for ideas.

I called abbey to help me out

"Tell her you're going over to Claire's place in tembisa for her sister's wedding or maybe a family function that requires you to stay longer"

"I love love Love ya" I said smiling sheepishly

Abbey was definitely my life line.

I called Claire to let her know she'll cover for me in case my mom calls her.

"Whatsup ass hole" Claire called.

"Language" I said sternly

We both laughed.

We talked for a while and planned everything out. Only that I excluded the gender and name of who I was going on a trip with so she thought it was a man.

"Be safe. Make sure you don't call me when you get pregnant"

Claire is the one to always use vulgar language but she is very careful whenever she's around my mom.
Been the only child of her parents, you could say she's a spoilt brat because she gets whatever she wants.
But I know I could count on her anytime. She's a keeper.

I walked to my parents room to inform them of my sudden trip.
