chapter 12

Nolle's POV

I woke up to the feeling of someone beside me. I opened my eyes and saw Lina reading a book with her glasses on.

The way those glasses rest on the edge of her nose made her look fucking adorable.

I couldn't remember what happened at the club. Lina had little to drink because she was driving us home and needed a clear head doing that.

Its our third day today. And we agreed to stay without internet.

Lina has been in my room more often lately and I can't deny the fact that I loved every bit of her time that I got.

"Morning sleepy head" she smiled sweetly

I finally got up because I felt my bowels where going to explode.

I staggered feeling a bit dizzy. Must be the alcohol in my system.

"Thanks for last night" I called before walking into the bathroom.

"Oh yeah. I think a kiss would do Cox you where a mess"
She replied.

This things she said to me makes me just want to grab her and kiss her passionately.
This was too much torture
I washed my faced and stared at the mirror a Little longer.

Man! I was a wreck.

I rinsed my hand and went back to the room

"I was sane enough not to puke in your car" I joked

"Not so sane to have said a lot of stuff to me though"
She winked and continued reading.

What the fuck!
I yelled inwardly

I guess she saw the look on my face.

"Just kidding"she said matter-of-factly

I just rolled my eyes and laid next to her sighing to myself.

Celina's POV

It's a day after my birthday and charles has not called me. He is not responding to my calls either.

I've been worried sick. Hoping he's fine
I called the office but his secretary told me he wasn't on seat.

Elle has always wanted to visit the cattle ranch since we got here. So I decided to go with her and maybe get my mind off Charles a bit.

We where at the ranch just few blocks from the hotel when I decided to call Charles
A lady's voice came next.

"Hello. I'm Martha Charles' fiance, he's not available at the moment. do you want to drop a message for him?"

My jaw dropped so did a tear.

How could Charles do this to me? He was supposed to stick with me .
He was supposed to be my boyfriend.
My family already knew him and thought he was going to be my husband.
How stupid was I to allow him take my virginity.
And he dumped me.
He fucking dumped me....

I was crying uncontrollably. I didn't notice Elle had walked up to me

"Are you okay sweetie?" She held me close to her.

I fell in her arms and sobbed.
She robbed soothing circles on my back and we stayed that way for what felt like eternity.

I sat there not saying a word. Just staring into space.

Elle took the phone from me to say something but the line already went dead.

"Here" Elle called dropping a box of tissue beside the bed.

I had not said a word to her since I got off the phone. And I could tell she was worried about me.

I laid in bed all day listening to sad songs and going through my messages with charles.

I wasn't about to give up on a seven years old relationship.
Charles and I have been through a lot.
Just when I was convinced that I was ready to start my home. Charles cheated on me.
What was I going to tell my mom. She'll obviously blame me for working too much and not having time for him.

I was broken beyond words....

" I'll just leave this here for when you need it" Elle said moving the mug closer to the lamp on the table. Or maybe that's what I thought.

I was facing the wall so I couldn't see her.

she pecked my hair and said
"Good night"
That was the lowest I've heard her speak when she wasn't sleeping

"Stay with me" I called back.

She hesitated for a while.....
