You and Steve hadn't talked for a couple weeks and thank goodness Bucky had been on a mission ever since so you didn't have to think of him.

It was a Saturday afternoon it was 90 degrees outside so everyone was sweating and laying in the living room and you wouldn't even look at Steve. "Oki doki everyone Fury just called we have a mission" tony said clapping his hands together.

That was a week ago everyone had come back but you had got shot four times and there was a slim chance you would survive. "Hey Bucky theres something I need to tell you um so remember the mission the rest of us went on well everyone came back but y/n got shot four times and just went into surgery" Steve spoke into the phone. "WHAT?! I'm headed home right now I should be there in a couple minutes" Bucky said concern evident in his voice. "Alright see you soon Buck" Steve said softly before Bucky hung up.

Steve's p.o.v
I couldn't help but let tears slip down my face the doctors said that there was a slim chance she would survive she had gone into surgery a few hours ago and had already lost a lot of blood. A few more tears slipped down my face as I remember my mother's last words "take care of your sister" but I failed I didn't take care of her and now she might not survive. I slammed my fist against the wall making a big hole. And then it hit me I WAS jealous because Y/n had found love before me and I had always wanted someone to love. "Hey Steve where is she" I heard Bucky call from down the hall "she's still in surgery they don't think she'll survive Buck and it's my fault" I spoke barely above a whisper. "Steve it's not your fault-" "YES IT IS JUST BECAUSE I WAS JEALOUS OF YOU TWO AND THEN SHE WAS ANGRY AT ME AND WAS DISTRACTED AND DIDNT SEE THAT DAMN HYDRA AGENT!" I yelled tears falling faster at the thought of her being gone for good. "YOU KNOW WHAT MAYBE IT IS YOUR FAULT OK ARE YOU HAPPY NOW YEAH MAYBE IT IS YOUR FAULT IS THAT WHAT YOU WNATED ME TO SAY ITS YOUR FAULT AND NOW BECAUSE YOU COULDNT PUT YOUR FUCKING JEALOUSY AWAY I MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO SAY GOODBYE OK!!!IS THAT WHAT YOU WANTED TO HEAR!!??" He yelled and now I could tell he was crying too. "Excuse me I'm sorry to interrupt but we stitched up all of her wounds but she didn't make it" a doctor said coming out of the room with a grim look on her face. Tears streamed down my face faster and faster my shirt drenched in tears. I looked over at Bucky but he seemed unfazed he was just staring at the ground but he looked up and said "can I see her?" He asked blankly "sir I told yo-" "please" he said cutting the doctor off. She just nodded and motioned towards the door. He walked inside and I followed him in he grabbed her lifeless hand and spoke softly "y/n doll you gotta wake up for me please, you said I wouldn't have to know what it feels like to live In a world without you and I know you you always keep your promises so please baby you gotta wake up for me" he said a tear slipping down his face slowly as he gave her hand a small squeeze. "Please" he whispered I looked down at the floor for a little until I heard a beep then another one and another I looked up at the heart monitor to see the flat line now had spikes In it. I looked over to my little sister to see her slowly opening here eyes "oh my gosh oh my gosh she's awake she's alive Bucky, she's alive" I said shock written all over my face "your right Buck I always keep my promises" she said squeezing Bucky's hand and then looked over at me.

I looked at Steve and then I remember our fight and what I said "oh my gosh Steve I'm so sorry I didn't mean what I said the other day I'm so sorry" I said tears streaming down my face"I forgive you y/n" he said with a smile "I missed you both, come here" I said them both coming over and hugging me softly. "Hey y/n I've decided that you can be with Bucky I didn't mean to come between you two I guess I was just jealous" Steve said pulling away "well Steve no offense but I was going to be with Bucky anyway" I said laughing a little. "Meh I take no offense you shouldn't listen to me when it comes to love" Steve said and me and Bucky laughed. I pulled Bucky in for a quick kiss and then hugged him again tightly "don't worry Steve you'll find your dance partner" and I smiled softly at Steve, my best friend and my big brother.
